Lights, Camera and jealousy! (Nagisa x Kaede) (AC)

They had a meet and greet with fans, something Nagisa was nervous about greatly..

He couldn't remember how long they had been a duo for, but neither really took advantage of it. Looking in a mirror he took a deep breath, trying to calm down the intense beating of his heart.

The act he put on, nothing but a mere mask. It was all an illusion, he wasn't the energetic social individual he appeared to be.

"Hey Nagisa, you okay?" That worried voice came from Kaede, as he turned to look at her he nodded.

"Yeah, I'm fine… Don't worry about it okay? We got- fans to meet." He said as he went over to her, trying to pull off a smile, despite how awkward and forced it looked.

Kaede blocked him from leaving, gently caressing his cheeks.

"Will you be okay?" She asked, knowing while he put on an act he seemed somewhat stubborn about it.

"Yes, yes I'll be fine! I- promise…" He said, putting his hands over her own.

It seemed like she hesitated, before sighing. Pulling her hands back, "alright. If you're sure then." She said, giving him a kiss on the cheek before they exited the room to meet their fans.

They had picked a small venue, mainly because neither wanted to become overwhelmed. But they still had a booth for them both to sit at when they wanted to get autographs signed.

Entering the venue, the duo had time to get settled. Meaning get posters ready and make sure they had everything they needed.

'We'll have signings… Speaking with fans, can't be too bad, right?' Nagisa asked himself, as he was organising a few parts on his table.

Their tables were lined up beside each other, covered with a white cloth. As the two got themselves settled.

Soon enough the fans were welcomed in, as Nagisa decided to put on a show of his persona.

Abruptly shooting up, leaning slightly forward with his hands planted on the table, keeping him up. "Hey everyone! Woah- there's a lot of you." Nagisa beamed, he wasn't opposed to the act, but it wasn't exactly comfortable for him to do.

"Let's get a line forming okay? We'll get everyone sorted!" He further went on to say, making almost robotic-like signals.

Kaede watched him do all this, finding it surprising that he was able to put up this front in front of their fans.

Even so she didn't have long to dwell on the thought, as people were lining up at their tables. Eager for signings or photographs.

Despite the facade Nagisa was incredibly nervous. Often biting on the inside of his cheek to try and distract himself from the nerves.

The room soon filled with chatter, both from Kaede talking to fans openingly. Though Nagisa tended to keep his interactions.

Standing up when some fans wanted photos, or even leaning forward in his seat with his elbows supporting him on the table.

Though at the same time- Kaede would glance over when she wasn't taking pictures or signing autographs.

Of course she knew he put on an act, but seeing him interacting with fans like this- it stirred a type of jealousy. Even if she knew they wouldn't stand much of a chance.

But she soon got back to what she was meant to be doing, when a fan asked about getting a photo with her.

"Oh sure thing!" Kaede cheerily said, smiling as she got up and got into the frame of the fan's phone.

Of course, Nagisa always paid attention to the eyes that were on him. He wasn't oblivious to Kaede looking at him, nor was he oblivious to the jealous tendencies the girl had.

As- an idea came to mind when he finished another few autographs.

Waiting for the perfect opportunity, his nerves practically gnawing away at him. It wasn't really in his comfort zone.

"I really wanna get a photo with them…" One girl whispered, while her friend groaned and just nudged her forward. "Then ask, he's been taking photos with others!" Her friend had retorted, neither paying attention to Nagisa who had gotten up.

Rounding the table Nagisa braved himself for the interaction. As he came up behind the girl, throwing his arm over her shoulder.

"A photo with me was it? Y'know you just have to ask." He smiled, trying to keep the act strong. Especially when he noticed Kaede was likely looking over. He'd done it now, so he may as well follow through with it..

As Kaede looked over to see how he acted around them.. She felt- jealous? He never acted that way towards her. Then again, he never acted like this in general. It was an act, she knew it wasn't real. But seeing him around those girls, clearly giddy and red-

Only was she pulled from her thoughts when her pen snapped. Catching her off guard.

"Sorry about that- here." She apologised to the fan she was signing for. Taking out a new professional photo to sign for them. Which they seemed okay with. Before she glanced over at them again…

The girl's eyes lit up, as a big smile appeared on her face. Seeing the idol they were just talking about and gushing over right offering to take a photo with them.

"So lucky… I want a photo next!" Her friend declared as Nagisa conjured a laugh before nodding. As the friend took a photo of the two. His arm still wrapped around her before she switched places with her friend and he'd done the same.

The trio caught the attention of some other fans, jealous because all they got were photos with him behind them at the table. And here were two fans getting 'special treatment' by having him right beside them in the photos!

He could feel Kaede's eyes bore into him as he continued his antics..

Kaede huffed, slightly annoyed and clearly jealous.. Though continuing her own autographs and pictures.

The event lasted for four hours, as the duo were saying goodbye to everyone who came. While thanking them for all their support.

Once everyone was gone it was like Nagisa shrivelled up.. Leaning against the door with his head in his hands. Mumbling nonsense..

Kaede sighed fondly, as she went over to him. Pulling him from his mess of a state. Quite literally, as she caught him by surprise. Bringing him into a hug of sorts.

"What was that about?..." She asked him, almost pouty.

"Heh- well…" He mumbled, feeling embarrassed now that he thought back on the events. "I… Wanted to see if you'd- get jealous if I was with fans." He mumbled, going a bit red in the face.

"They were blushing idiot… Don't get so close to them next time." She told him, as she rested her head against his chest.

Nagisa smiled slightly, she didn't seem overly annoyed.. "Yeah- okay. I won't," he said as he ran his fingers through her hair.

Guess he sort of learned his lesson, at least she didn't do anything crazy in front of the fans.
