Contexts of my main world
I use this for most of my characters, namely for Lay and those on Espoir Island
Chapter 1: Basics and Changes
TL;DR
The setting shown here is my main world, in which most of my OCs reside in. It is similar to the world of 'Sentōru no Nayami' ('A Centaur's Life') with the addition of Humans, Elementals, Kemonomimi and a few more notable additions while more divine and demonic-focused races (Such as Angels or Demons) aren't present. Magic still present though, but only in small amounts.
Historical
Events within the world are nearly identical, human figures still exist as well multiple freedom fighters and leaders from each species present. Racial warfare in ancient was rather common, but after so many wars and killings, all species just agreed to live with each other.
Society and Sciences
In some senses of the word, the world's society and technology are a fair bit more advanced, partial thanks to the higher variety of those who influenced it existence. It is a shame to hear that certain race-related discrimination still exist from time to time, but these are fairly rare cases. On a lighter note, however, so many vehicles, furniture and plenty more are made to be easily modifiable for whoever might need it.
Portable Shielding is in it's sheer infancy and almost used entirely for dangerous levels of energy and temperatures belonging to certain elemental types, such as Electric Elementals and the famous case of 'Odeka', a super chilled ice elemental who was near constantly 0°K and is generally considered one of the fathers of the magic-science hybridization that began portable shields, allowing any rooms he was in to stay at a decent heat while keeping himself safe. (Please note: These shields don't block physical objects, they only really work on shields)
Medical sciences do struggle from time to time, given the multitudes of different biologies that are involved. It is a common sight to see doctors for specific species, such as Equine and Avian surgeons for Centaurs and Harpies.
