It was a casual day in the square with bustling, busy crowds wandering to and fro amidst the candlelit night. Creatures of all shapes and sizes going to their homes and peaceful families under the stars of the night. But one stood amongst the square, grinning from ear to pointed ear. He glowed in the night almost as if illuminated by his own brilliant presence. He was his own star in the night. He climbed up atop the stairs of a nearby building and puffed his chest. He was proud to announce himself to the crowd that was to be.


“Hark, birds, fauna and feline! For I am the Boingo Oingo, mystery of the night! Listen for what I will tell you, I bring you story and song!” Boingo proclaimed, his grin widening with his boisterous voice. An accordion rested in his hands, with suspended harmonica in tow. This gleaming star of the night, this.. Boingo. He was to become the starlight of the square, whether the people stuck to listen or scurried away. He pulled his instrument taught once silence struck, and there he played his beautiful notes of the pearlescent moon. Surely, this was an event to remember….
