Nobody knows how that situation was created but the truth was that the reoseans were nervous. Grunt was growling at Neerakti, while Octavia was sent there to catch the other tyrian. Nobody was safe there.

The puller’s fur was almost shimmering in the dark, due to the bright reddish colors on his neck. Neera’s amber was in contrast with her dark base, but both of them were looking at each other.

On one side, Octavia was waiting for them to fight again. Her work would have been easier if the female tyrian would have lost the battle against the puller, but she wasn’t sure about the result.

Grunt was surely strong, but Neera was huge. And both were determined to win the fight.

Neera was there in Thedale to avoid being arrested and he met Grunt while traveling. Unfortunately she entered his territory and they started to fight to decide if she could have passed there or not.

The puller moved, deciding to attack and he tried to aim at Neera’s neck, but she was faster and she dodged. The feral behavior of both was evident but Grunt had entered in berserker mode and the black tyrian was just defending herself.

Thus Octavia decided to enter the battle as well, helping Grunt as he could. Her duty was catching Neera and bringing her back to the city because she was a bounty hunter and Neera was officially a criminal.

“Don’t move, Neera!” said the blue tyrian.

The other female growled at her, but Grunt decided to attack again. His fury was now evident and of the three, the only one that could handle the fight with some tactics, was Octavia.

Thus, while Grunt was attacking with his fury and the fiery attitude that was burning into his body, the blue calico decided to move in another position to help him. The puller’s attacks were direct and violent, so Octavia decided to fly behind Neera to attack her from there.

Unfortunately for the two, the dark tyrian was fast and turned quickly to face both her opponents again.

She growled again while replying to Grunt’s attack with the same force, even if he was stronger. She used her claws to injure him on a flank, but he was fast and he bit her on a paw.

Neera shouted in pain and Grunt didn’t seem intent on letting her go.

“Let me go, you! You, stupid-....” the rest of her vulgarities were lost in the wind.

With her large wings, she started to move the red sand under herself and the puller, as well as Octavia, was invested by it. Some sand entered his eyes, but he didn’t emit a single whine.

He was strong and fierce and the opponent for him was only another prey he should have defeated in short. Even if she was a large tyrian.

The blue tyrian coughed but she was also used to battle and she wanted to finish her duty.

“Neera, stop! It’s over, you can’t win!” she said.

Through the sand she could see the two still attached, and the silhouette of Grunt was visible under Neera’s. The growls became shouts and the next move of the dark tyrian surprised both Octavia and the puller.

“If I cannot win, it’s better if I die!” she said.

With a strong move, she threw herself against the puller with her open claws. Having wings didn’t mean she could fight in the sky only.

She landed on Grunt and they started to roll one on each other, while the red sand was moved under them. It entered inside their nostrils and in the eyes but the two didn’t stop.

Grunt wanted to attack again and Neera did her best to defend herself.

She was ready to flee, but her injured paw was slowing her down. That puller was really strong, she had to admit it and she was sure he was thinking the same of her.

Grunt used his claws to attack and Neera dodged just in time, but she couldn’t avoid his strong reptile tail. He was a master of battle, used also to weapons like axes and hammers, but luckily for the tyrians he didn’t have one with him.

On the other hand, Neera was just a feral beast. She broke the chains of her slavery role but she killed some other people and reoseans and that was the reason why Octavia was there.

The blue tyrian let the two bite each other in the sand and she waited for the perfect timing. Then she noticed some wounds on both the fighters. Grunt was hit on the flank and Neera had a wound on her muzzle, besides the injured paw. It was hard for her to put it on the ground and her wings were aching.

Both the opponents were panting and they were tired. Grunt was trying to recover just a bit but he was burning so hard inside that his berserker attitude was difficult to stop.

Once Octavia was sure the two were stopping for taking a breath, she opened her bag quickly and she extracted a rope. On the end of both the parts, there were two metal weights and she used them to throw the rope in Neera’s direction.

Focused on Grunt, again ready to attack, Neera didn’t notice the rope until it was late: it rolled up on her paws, blocking them.

She started to shout and she cursed the other tyrian for several seconds.

“You! What the-...” shouted Neera, full of anger.

Grunt, in front of her, wanted to attack again, taking advantage of his opponent, but he looked at Octavia and he understood.

“Thank you for your cooperation” said the blue calico, bowing slightly.

Grunt emitted a simple “hmpf” and he looked at Neera, fallen on the sand. They had a good fight, in the end, he had to admit it.

“You were a good opponent” he said. He wouldn’t say anything else, due to his reserved and mysterious nature.

Thus he started to walk slowly away, licking his wounds a bit since he was injured like the dark tyrian. His green-yellow eyes shimmered in the dark with the reddish part of his fur, making him even more mysterious.

Octavia sighed, walking to Neera. The difference in size was pretty evident.

“Let’s return home” she said.

She fulfilled her duty, she captured the criminal and at the same time the berserker defended his homeland from the dark tyrian. Neera would have been put in prison, maybe, but Octavia was sure she would have done anything to set free again.
