Nights at the world fair always seemed to bring the deviants out of the shadows they usually hid within. So many unwary and vulnerable travelers came to the fair after all, and so many brought with them coins to buy unique items from the fair that couldn’t be found anywhere else.

In the shadows stood a somewhat mismatched trio. An enormous puller, a male named Grunt, towered over his companions making him a menacing sight. Even the tyrian, a female that went by the name Tsireyea, found herself shorter than Grunt but her wings did seem to make her appear larger. Lastly, a small runner by the name of Pinto was with the two behemoths, his small stature making him seem almost laughable while standing besides his “friends”.

“Ok, so what’s the plan again?” Pinto spoke in a hushed tone, his eyes darting around as though trying to find something or rather someone to prey upon.

Tsireyea bared her teeth, the small runner definitely annoying her by simply existing, “We’ve been over this already. You can’t tell me you already forgot.” As she spoke she got up into Pinto’s face who seemed to become pale with fear.

Grunt gently placed a pay on Tsireyea’s chest, gently guiding him away from the runner. Being a mute he didn’t say a word, but rather let out a gruff rumble from his throat while he shook his head in disapproval. He knew his wife could be irrational, if he didn’t step in she wouldn’t be afraid to let her anger over take her.

Pinto sighed with relief as Tsireyea was pulled back from him, letting out an uncomfortable laugh, “H-hey I’m just trying to make sure we get this all straight so no one gets in trouble is all. Not trying to cause any issues.” His voice was weak and shaking, the fear within it still evident.

The female tyrian took a deep breath almost as though trying to calm herself, Grunt’s paw still placed lightly on her helping to bring her down. “Alright, see those two pullers over there?” She gestured with her eyes rather than hands, trying to remain as inconspicuous as possible, “Well word on the street is they are part of a royal family from Vitalus, brothers if I’m not mistaken. Royals always bring more coin than they can spend, we are just here to help lighten their load.” She spoke with a somewhat sinister smile as her mind pondered what goodies the brother’s had on them.

“Right… So I’m going to run distraction with your body guard here and you are going to grab what you can? Not to doubt you or anything but wouldn’t it be best if you two ran distractions while I grabbed since I’m so much smaller, I’ll be a lot less likely to be spotted.” Pinto was a people pleaser, but he was also smart enough to not just cave into a plan he had doubts on.

Tsireyea said nothing as her piercing yellow eyes laid upon Pinto who simply nodded in understanding, “Got it, no more questions.”

Grunt let out a bit of a chuckle at Pinto’s fear before he began walking towards their marks, tail gesturing for Pinto to follow. As the two grew closer to the pair they began watching the show that seemed to have them already occupied. Now came the hard part, getting their attention. Without any words, Grunt shoved Pinto into the pair, baring his teeth towards his companion and letting a low rumbling escape his lips.

“Hey! Wha-what’s your problem!” Pinto asked, the fright in his voice so convincing it made Grunt wonder if it was genuine.

The two brothers stuttered backwards at the impact, both less than amused by being touched, “What the hell is your problem?” One spoke up, shoving Pinto off of him.

Pinto scrambled to stay up at the second shove from the stranger, Grunt still bearing down on him slowly, “Oh please you have to help me! This guy is crazy, he's gonna kill me!” Pinto pleaded with the two, going as far as groveling at their feet in an act to gain pity from them.

As Grunt and Pinto continued on their act Tsireyea moved in for the kill. Lucky enough Pinto’s impact had caused one of the two’s bags to come off entirely. Just a quick grab and she had all of his possessions, but that wasn’t enough for her. She eyed the second brother’s bag and began stealthily going through it. Grunt and Pinto continued on with their charade, the brothers becoming more and more invested that they had zero idea that Tsireyea was robbing them blind.

After gathering all she could he nodded to Grunt before casually walking away into the shadow’s of the crowd. As quickly as the altercation had started, both Grunt and Pinto bolted leaving the two brother’s confused beyond belief. Just like that the trio had struck gold, and a hearty amount of coins.
