Evolution!

Venice was shaking. He had decided to try his luck at evolving using the arena's challenge. Onyx had convinced him to do so - Venice mainly wanted to impress Onyx. That's what he was always doing: trying to impress his crush. Was fighting a super strong pokemon a good idea? For his safety, probably not. But he knew Onyx would be really really impressed if he won. He was so nervous about the fight that he feared he would forget all the moves he knows. The arena was bigger and more impressive than he thought. A fluffy arcanine approached him.

- Hello young one! Are you here to watch today's fight? It's gonna be interesting.

Venice started shaking even more than before. He kept staring at the ground.

- N-No I'm the one who's going to compete... I'm scared.

- Than why are you competing? Evolution should be a moment you enjoy and this fight is what allows you to evolve.

The arcanine looked conserned. The purple vulpix glanced toward the big wolf.

- I wanted to impress my friend Onyx.. But I don't think I can win.

- I know a way you could win, you have a good heart. I'm just you deserve to evolve.

When the bell rang, Venice and the arcanine followed their plan. The young vulpix scratched the arcanine's face, making it hard for them to see. The fluffy wolf gave up on the fight. Onyx and his friends came to cheer up on Venice. He had won! Not the correct way, but. It was still a victory!
