OSDEGDS

I find you when I clasp hands in prayer
At church I have long since stopped attending
For you haunt my visions loud and clear
With vibrating presence of infinite wing
And ethereal eyes shifting across red aspect.
You hover above the henpecked earth
Comb and waddle crimson with feathers flecked
With yellow, green, blue, vibrant since birth.
The halo drifting above your avian head tilts,
As your beak opens to free a shuddering scream,
Your countless pupils pivot toward my thankless ilk
While my body shrivels in fear of your blessing gleam.
As you lean, my hands fold, my body afloat on shaking leg
With closed eyes I pray to you, my Goddess, my OSDEGDS.
