“Oregano look!” Aurea called, as she ran towards a row of flowers that were blooming.
“These look new! Did you make them?” The tall, white furred Esk exclaimed, as she galloped towards them and sit down, staring at them with bright eyes, before laying on her stomach to get a closer look, gently brushing them with her nose and lightly running her paw over them.
Oregano, a dark green furred Esk, smiled at her with his eyes, walking towards her.
He was smaller than her but he didn’t seem to mind much, or it just didn’t bother him.
“No, these were placed here by a few humans that come around every now and then. I just helped them along.” He replied, walking over and gently placing his nose against each of them, a small burst of wind wrapping around them for only a moment before they began to grow just a bit more.

Aurea’s eyes lit up as she watched her friend work his magic on the flowers. She remembered that he always used to help the flowers she had planted grow, she just never got to see how since he moved so quickly and she only got glimpses of his tail once he was out of sight.
“How do you do that? Can you do that with all of the flowers?” She asked, staring at him curiously.
“I believe so. It’s not that hard to do.”
“Can we go find more flowers to help grow!?”
Aurea asked excitedly.
Oregano nodded and climbed onto her back.
“If you know where there are more then, sure.” He replied.
An excited, “Yay!” Was sent to him, before the young Esk bolted out of the garden and towards the park.

Reaching the park, it looked kind of empty but there were still a few people wandering around. Some of them had cameras while others seemed to be carrying sketchpads and a pencil with them. There were a few couples, young and old, admiring the flowers and pointing out their favorite ones.
A few families were also there, admiring the flowers that were blooming.
“Now, where did I see those flowers?” She wondered, walking around the botanical garden with a curious yet focused glint in her eyes.
Oregano kept an eye out too, looking around to see if there were any flowers that needed a bit more help growing.
“I found them!”Aurea called, running over to a group of elephant ears.
Oregano climbed onto Aurea’s head and stared at them closely, tilting his head a few times.
“There are holes in it and it looks sad.” She explained.

Oregano gently pat her head with his little paw. “It’s alright. We’ll help it along. Just follow my lead.” He instructed, making his way to the tip of her nose, then reaching out and gently tapping the leaf of the plant, as Aurea did the same.
After touching it, there was another gust of wind that wrapped around the plant for a moment before disappearing.
The leaf looked healthier now and the holes were slowly starting to close.
“It worked! Look Oregano, we did it! The plant looks happy again!” Aurea said excitedly as she lightly bounced up and down.
The sound of chuckle could be heard from Oregano, as he watched Aurea with shining eyes, before a thought struck him, “Aurea, do you have a favorite flower?”
Aurea stopped her happy bouncing for a moment then sat down and thought for a moment.
“Yes! I think I saw some further in.” She replied, starting to make her way further into the park.

Further in were many more flowers and a few trees.
“There they are!” She exclaimed, quickly running over to a tree that had yellow flowers that looked like trumpets, hanging upside down on them.
"These are called Angel Trumpets!” She explained, sitting in front of the tree.
“I like them because of the color and how they look.”
Oregano gazed at the flowers thoughtfully. “My favorite flowers are called Dahlia.” He said, hopping off of her back then walking down a path that was right in front of the Angel Trumpet tree.
“I’ve seen them here as well and, I believe they’re this way.” He said, waiting for her to follow him.

Finding the Dahlia bush didn’t take very long since, they were only a few feet away from the tree.
“They’re so pretty and have so many colors.” Aurea mentioned, moving close to them and sitting down.
“Do you have a favorite color?”
Oregano thought for a moment, as he walked over to the bush.
“I don’t think I do but, I know which one you would like.” He said, pointing to the pink one.
Aurea moved a little closer and gazed at it.
“That one is pretty. Can I have it?!” She asked, looking at him.
Oregano shook his head. “You’re not allowed to take flowers from a botanical garden, I’m afraid but maybe we can find some outside of it.” He informed her.
    “Are you ready to go?”
“Yes but, can we come back tomorrow and look at even more pretty flowers?”
Aurea replied, as they started to make their way out.
“Of course we can. There may be more flowers that need out help.” He replied.

I wrote  story about Aurea and Oregano! Aurea and Oregano went to the park together to check on the flowers there. I thought it was cute so, I went with it. The italics is them talking through telepathy. I hope I got their personalities right. I tried tho! I'm sorry if I didn't.

This story is for Keen-Bean and I added raxray's Oregano into it because from what I read with Aurea's origins is that, those two seem to have become bestest friends, before the poor child died of Poli.
