| Dandelionkit had been trying to figure out what exactly the flower chain was for AGES. Eventually he just decides to go ask the kit that gave it to him. Gingerly holding the chain in one mouth, Dandelionkit looks for Ivorykit. |
| Ivorykit was rustling through a giant stash of leaves near the nursery. The only thing visible were his tail and pale flecks of fur at times shining through. He loved the sounds the crunchy leaves made whenever he moved, like everything was crackling around him. With a small mreow he rolled out of the pile, a bunch of colorful leaves clutched between his paws, and came to a slow stop in front of Dandelionkit. It took him a few seconds to notice him, his attention still on the raggedy plant parts in his possession. ”Oh, Dandy!” With a bright smile Ivorykit jumped to his paws, spotted tail wagging behind him, ”I’ve been looking for you!” Shreds of leaves still hanging in his fur definitely did make him appear like he had been looking. In a pile of leaves, that was. |
Dandelionkit is startled by the appearance of the kit but smiles pleasantly nonetheless. ”You have?” his own tail wags in response, an echo of Ivorykit’s gesture. ”What for?” |
| ”Hmm”, the ivory tom tilted his head, lavender gaze wandering up to the sky in contemplation before returning to Dandelionkit with a shrug of his shoulders. He hadn’t really thought about it so far. ”Dunno. Want me to show ya 'round?”, he asked with an enthusiastic smile, eyes sparkling. He didn’t quite know his way around camp yet either but with someone else it’d surely be exciting to explore! |
Dandelionkit appreciates Ivorykit's carefree energy. "Sure! I've only really seen the kit-den so far." He's excited to see more of the camp. He lives here now, apparently. Might as well get to know the place. |
With a small skip in his step Ivorykit gleefully hopped next to Dandelionkit's side. ”Great! Want to take that with you?”, he added, happily surprised at seeing his make-shift flower crown at Dandy’s side. It wasn’t broken yet which he took as a full success of his work. |
Dandelionkit nods fervently. "Yeah!" He gingerly scoops up the crown, setting it around his tail until he finds a time to ask what it is. "How long've you been here?" He asks, looking at Ivorykit before his gaze flits around to the rest of camp. |
| It made Ivorykit happy to see someone wear his gifts. He wouldn’t have felt hurt seeing it lie abandoned in a corner but it was a nice feeling to observe the opposite! ”For a couple days, I think!”, the small tom mewed over his shoulder as he had already skipped ahead by a few paces. ”Ginger, Honey and Cinchey were taken here - and obviously I had to watch out for them!” Any day he’d wake up somebody would have a new nickname, Ivorykit didn’t quite think it through if somebody could discern whose names they were. |
| Dandelionkit nods. "Chinchey? I haven't met anyone named that." Granted, he's not yet met everyone, or even most cats. |
| “Cinchey? Cincharr?“ Contemplative the kit tilted his head. “She‘s really dark! Almost like the night!“ His attention focused on the den just ahead, “That‘s the warriors den! Think anyone’s sleeping inside?“ Curious Ivorykit tried to get a good look without accidentally intruding. |
| He follows Ivorykit, recognition dawning. "Oh! Charredkit." What had the other kit called him? It had been way wrong. Dandelionkit shrugs. "Are we allowed to find out?" |
| ”Dunno.”
Charredkit, never heard of that name before, hearsay, hearsay! Ivorykit stares into the den for a couple of heartbeats before deciding to take a step forward, that step turning into full on jump into the warrior den. ”Come in! It looks way different from the nursery!” He peeks over at Dandelionkit with excitement before disappearing behind a corner. |
| Dandelionkit follows Ivorykit into the den, enthused by the toms energy. "Alright!" He bounces in to see whatever it is Ivorykit is so enthralled by. Even after having been here for a while, there's still so much Dandelionkit will have to see! |
