Appearance

For the most part, Roy looks pretty average. He's average height, standing around 5'8", with dark brown hair, light brown skin, and green eyes. His features are predominantly hispanic, and perhaps his most defining feature is not a feature at all, but a lack of one: His skin is entirely clear of any blemish, the product of heavy regeneration and a lack of life experience. His hair is kept in an undercut, and his clothes tend to be loose and comfortable. His build is athletic but thin, and he struggles to keep weight on.

Despite his actual age, Roy looks like he's sixteen.

Personality

Roy does things fast, and that's not just a matter of speed. He seems to be trying to live life with his foot on the gas pedal, experiencing everything he can as fast as humanly possible. He's the kind of person who after one conversation would consider you a friend, who says yes to almost any experience, and who is likely to get into trouble at the drop of a hat because he doesn't want to say no to anything.

He's bothered by his lack of experience, and desperately trying to make up for it. He generally comes on too strong for most people, and lacks the personal boundaries that would stop him from, say, bothering someone all day until they said yes.

Active Abilities

Speed Up: Roy's most fundamental power is also his simplest: He can move really, really fast. His top speed is somewhere around mach 3, letting him zip along faster than any car, and cross the island in a flash. This makes him literally fast as a speeding bullet. Using this power burns his energy, depending on how fast he goes.

Heal Up: Roy is capable of speeding up his own bodies regeneration, healing cuts, bruises, or other injuries in seconds. This burns his energy, and doesn't allow him to regenerate anything his body couldn't naturally regenerate anyway.

Passive Abilities

Think Fast: Roy is effectively, even when he's not actively moving fast, operating above human normal. He thinks and reacts faster than an ordinary human, letting him activate his other powers at a speed that lets him dodge bullets.

Kinetic Battery: Every hit Roy takes causes his active abilities to surge. He doesn't take any less damage, but he bottles up any kinetic energy applied to him in order to make it easier to use his abilities. This energy takes the place of the calories he'd otherwise burn.

Weaknesses

Calorie Consumption: The source of Roy's abilities are his energy, and that means even at a base level without using his powers, he needs an extremely large number of calories. At a minimum level, not using his powers at all, he needs double the calories of a fully grown adult man just to maintain his weight.

Biography

• Halcyon City was a shining beacon of hope: A universe similar enough to the concept of a superhero universe, where villains and heroes existed and were a part of every day life. Or it was until the end of the world came to Halcyon City, leaving the entire planet decimated, the population extinct, and the survivors evacuating to another world entirely.
• Roy is a clone, a copy of a villain-turned-superhero who once went rogue. He (and his siblings) were created as a backup, a fail safe in case their original ever went too far. They were grown to their teenage years, educated within their tanks, and then abandoned when the world ended, having never been used at all.
• Roy and his brother were rescued by a small group that had traveled to visit the doomed Halcyon City, where they discovered the clones in a still-operating lab. They were brought back to Manta Carlos, where they had begun getting used to Manta Carlos society.

Roy lives at the school, and lives off their stipend.

Extra Info

Roy considers Santiago to be his brother. No other clones survived. His name, Diez, is 'ten', and refers to the series they were a part of, the original batch having not survived long enough to be useful. He's number 14.
