"You know Milady, most idols wear disguises when they're out and about in public!" Though the taller, more appropriately fashioned Princess was lightly scolding her companion as they made their way through crowds of excited festivalgoers, there was a bright smile curled upon her face and a spring in her step. "Regardless, I'm still honored to see you as our guest of honor for the festival!"

Every year, in the midst of Summer, Selkilin were hosts of the ever loud and bright Summer Festival, chock-full the brim with games, specialty foods, as well as live events and fireworks once the day draws to a close. Set near the beautiful beaches of their lands, the sounds and sight of Milqilin laughing, cheerfully playing carnival games, and splashing amongst the water had become familiar and comforting sounds to Princess Purin, who hummed brightly and guided her guest throughout. It had been the idol, Shion's, first time actually attending, so she must offer the best first impression. An easy task for someone like her!

The blue-haired Selkilin's eyes would easily trail between stalls of food and games as they walked, a slight drool at the tips of her lips as she'd linger on thoughts of chowing down on cotton candy twice the size of her head and winning the giant stuffed sharks hanging from nearby stalls to carry around as a prized possession. Seeing the girl trip over her own thoughts and linger from time to time, Purin paused her long monologue of describing the festival (she doesn't think the idol has been listening to it, anyways) and looks at the girl staring off at food once again. "Ahaha, I should've offered some food first, right? Get whatever you want, my treat!"

Like a girl set loose from her strings, Shion sprung off in the direction of one of the food stalls, quickly ordering more than a normal customer would. "One order of corn on the cob, grilled squid, and bubble tea with lychee jelly. Two orders of sweet potato fries." She pauses, looking back at her companion, then to the menu. "...And one pudding-flavored cotton candy shaped like a flower." The princess behind her would tilt her head curiously as her order would delay the stall for a bit, but eyes would alight as she returns with a tray of food and cotton candy held out to her.

"Aww, for me? You shouldn't have~! Such a romantic you are, Shion." The Selkilin giggled, as Shion offered a soft blush in return. "Before your idol set, the fireworks show will be happening. It's a perfect time to enjoy your food, don't you think?" As she spoke, the sound of a sparkler being flown into the air breaks the usually chatter of the faire, leading many Milqilin to look up into the sky as sparkling lights of different arrays of colors dot the sky. The almost set sun was the perfect atmosphere for a firework display celebrating the year of summer fun, and another year for Selkilin and Milqilin to enjoy their time together in harmony. As they found a spot to relax and chow down, there was plenty of more fun to look towards as the night drew in, and the lights of the festival began to dot and decorate the town.
