Salem NOT Bobbing for Berries!

Salem huffs as she watches Empurress walk past her heading in the direction of the berry bobbing bucket. She slowly gets up following Empurress towards the dreaded water bucket. Salem really didn't want to get her fur wet as it always took her a long time to get it to look good on her instead of the usual fur most 'vees had. She thought that most of them looked ok at best with their unkempt fur but she couldn't control what other 'vees did. She rolls her eyes at the thought of Empurress being fine getting her fur wet, how could she be so fine with that?

"Salem!?" A voice purrs in front of her snapping her out of her annoyance to wet fur. She looks at the gray and pink figure standing in front of her and the corners of her mouth turn upwards towards a smile the smallest amount. To any other creature it would have seemed like her face didn't move, not even a tiny muscle. But to her best friend Empurress it meant the world, she had learned how to read her best friend and a huge grin appeared on Empurress' face. "I knew you'd be happy to see Moi." Empurress says with a giggle as she gazes at Salem.

Salem nods. "You are my best friend dear." She stated solemnly, her voice quiet and stoic. Salem touches her nose to Empurress' cheek as a sign of endearment and greeting since this is how they greeted each other. Empurress purrs and touches her back with her nose to Salem's cheek and a small purr. They pull away and Salem looks down at Empurress. "I saw you headed to the Berry bucket. Are you really going to get your fur wet just to mess around with some silly berries?" Salem stated simply.

"Salem, you got to learn to let loose a bit girl, sometimes its ok to let your fur get a little wet." Empurress purrs looking up at Salem with soft eyes. "Salem, come with me. I want to teach you how to get out of your little box a bit. If that is ok with you of course." She states still looking at Salem, this time her gaze held a look that wanted Salem's consent. "Of course Empurress." Salem says blankly after a bit of hesitation. She trusted Empurress but didn't know what exactly she had in mind for the pair of them to do.
