A moment that takes place about ~150 years after Katsu had already gotten back from his 100-year-long absence.

This will eventually be a chapter of the book I'm writing about Screks' and Katsu.

The bluish lighting covering the cavern's walls surrounded by the loud but calming sound of a waterfall fills the ambiance, the water descends into a small lake, its surface reflecting the light of the magical blue crystals on the ceiling, appearing to glow with a magical touch.

A tall black man with pointy ears and galaxy-like hair colored in various oranges and reds made into a magical floating braid is in the middle of the lake, standing above the water. His eyes are closed and he seems focused, a reddish aura surrounding him as he practices some battle stances, his movements slow but powerful.

On the edge of that same lake, there's also a pale white man, pointy-eared as well, the left half of his face is made of some sort of metal, together with his left leg and right arm. He's wearing a lab coat and has two small black horns, one cut in half, grey unkempt hair, and deep eyebags right below his organic scarlet eye that is fixed on a big piece of paper stretched out below him as he sketches away with his mechanical right arm, drawing some kind of blueprint of what appears to be a machine of sorts, while two mechanical arms, that come from his back, flick through different smaller blueprints scattered all around him, making annotations in them, while the doctor mumbles something to himself.

The cyborgish man lets out a long sigh, crossing out a section of the blueprint he is working on. - "Katsu, I'm tired, I'm going back in."  - he announces, standing up and starting to make his way up a small hill that leads to a modest house.

He doesn't look at the red-haired as he says this, the taller man opens his eyes and stops his movements to look at his friend, who is starting to leave.

"You're.... tired?" - Katsu jogs out of the lake towards the grey-haired one, that doesn't look back at him.

The scientist stops in his tracks. - "Yes. Any problem with that, mage?" - he looks back, lingering annoyance filling his expression.

Seeing his friend's glare, the mage freezes for a moment. - "Uhm, no I just... It's not usual of you to like, say you're tired... I'm..." - he pauses, looking away. - "I'm sorry... Screks." - he scratches the back of his neck, smiling awkwardly.

The grey-haired eyes him, his expression twisting further into clear annoyance

"I mean... Doctor... Screks... sorry" - the mage mumbles under his breath, some uneasiness lingering on his face.

"Yeah well, whatever." - Screks looks back at the path in front of him. - "Are you coming or are you just gonna stand there like an abandoned pet?" - he mocks, resuming his walk.

The mage doesn't respond, but his apologetic smile turns into a frown as he starts following the doctor.

A few moments later they reach the house and the doctor makes a beeline toward a small closet-like room, closing the door as he enters.

Katsu goes towards a kitchen-like space opening what looks like a metallic fridge, inspecting its insides. He notices a slice of some kind of yellow cold cake, probably left behind by Screks, in the middle of the disorganized mess that is in it, with all kinds of foods and blood packs with different colors, scattered all around.

He looks at the cake for a moment and takes it out of the fridge, taking a bite out of it. His frown lifts for a second as the taste hits him right on the sweet spot, making him devour the rest of the slice in no time, before picking up a blood package and staring at it, his eyebrows sinking into his face. He lets out a sigh and shakes his head as he closes the fridge door. In doing so he also hears the familiar sound of the door from the closet-like space opening, from it comes out Screks, who now has some simpler-looking prosthetics on, very different from the ones he was using before and is not wearing a shirt, revealing his unhealthy thin torso with two, almost symmetrical, scars that trace his pecs as well and the various scars of all sizes and shapes covering his organic arm. The mage eyes him for a moment.

"You know, you don't have to speak to me like that. It's not my fault your project isn't coming together like you want it to." - Katsu faces his friend who doesn't bother to look back at him.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." - the doctor approaches the mage reaching for the blood pack, but Katsu snatches it out of Screks' way as he is about to grab it from his hand.

"I'm serious, you need to stop doing that, it's not-"

"It's not what. Uh? You know, a lot of things could be different, as I'm sure you know. A lot of people could be more aware of how their actions affect others, of how not everyone can tell what's on their minds, but at the very least I am very clear about that, no?" - Screks raises his voice slightly, interrupting his friend without a second thought, gesturing extravagantly at him with every word.

Katsu's frown twists into anger as he slams the blood package on the table. - "AT LEAST I'M TRYING TO BE BETTER NOW, DOES THAT REALLY COUNT FOR NOTHING?" - he shouts in frustration.

Screks stares at him for a good second. - "You know, that was good quality blood." - he affirms.

"... what?" - Katsu looks at his hand to see that the thin plastic bag had ripped with the impact, dark red liquid starting to drip from the kitchen counter and from his hand. - "Ah for the Guardians... ugh..." - he reaches towards his nose with his clean hand, pitching its bridge. - "... sorry I just..."

"It's fine." - Screks approaches and reaches for a clean cloth, grabbing the mostly empty blood package from Katsu's hand and throwing it into the trash by his side.

He takes the mage's dirty hand onto his own, starting to wipe away the blood.

Both stay in silence for a few moments as the shorter man finishes cleaning his friend's hand.

"... I'm sorry too..." - the scientist murmurs under his breath, his gaze fixed on the mage's hand.

"... It's okay..." - Katsu answers, looking at Screks, who looks right back at him.

Both stare at each other for a few moments, in silence, before Screks steeps away, starting to head towards a semi-open door down the hall that connects to the kitchen space. - "I'm going to rest, you should do the same, you seem tired." - he suggests, entering their bedroom and leaving Katsu by himself.

The mage takes a deep breath and then a look at the counter, still dripping with blood. - "... I'll just clean it up tomorrow..." - he thinks, turning towards the white wooden door, following Screks.

Upon entering the bedroom, Katsu sees his friend sitting on the bed, grasping at his own chest, breathing heavily, as his organic red eye twitching slightly.

"Are you okay?" - the mage asks, getting closer to his friend.

"...yeah I... I guess I'm just... thirsty..." - Screks acknowledges while staring at the floor.

"Want me to go grab you some new blood?" - Katsu asks, a hint of worry in his voice, crouching in front of the scientist who slowly gazes back at him.

"... No, not really." - Screks answers, his body appearing slightly unsteady.

Katsu pauses for a moment - "Screks you have to drink something, or even if you rest you won't feel any better. You know that." - he reaches for the doctor's hand, but as he is about to touch it he hesitates, ending up placing it gently on his shoulder instead.

Screks stares at him for a good while.

"... Can I have yours then?"- the doctor finally asks, a slight plea in his voice. - "I kind of don't want any of the ones on the fridge right now."

Katsu's eyes widen slightly. - "Oh, uhm." - he thinks for a second, this was not the first time his friend had asked him this, but it was certainly not usual of him to do so. - "O-okay..." - the mage starts slowly unbuttoning his cloak that falls to his side, Screks looks at him closely as Katsu sits beside him and shyly takes off his shirt, revealing his fit torso, his cheeks get warmer as he does so, which makes him look away, as if hiding from the half-vampire's gaze.

As the doctor gets closer and opens his mouth sharp vampire teeth start revealing themselves, growing longer as he approaches Katsu's neck, biting it without much thought, making Katsu let out a groan and closing his eyes, redness lingering on his face.

Screks gulps loudly, the warm blood taste filling his mouth as he starts climbing onto Katsu's lap, who still has his eyes closed. He takes yet another generous mouthful, feeling his strength slowly coming back as he starts tenderly grabbing at the mage's shoulders, who opens his eyes slightly, his breathing heavier than before, hesitantly reaching for the waist of the man on his lap.

"...Sc-"

Katsu's call is interrupted by Screks who gently pushes his friend down towards the bed sheets, his vampire teeth still caved on the mage's neck as he takes another big gulp, this makes a light moan escape the mage's mouth that instantly flushes up, closing his eyes back again, upon considering the situation they are in. Unshaken by this and feeling fuller, Screks then takes his teeth out of his friend's neck that flitches, bitting at his lip to hold any noise in.

Now sat on Katsu's waist, the half-vampire starts licking at his own lips so as not to waste any blood, that's when he notices that Katsu's eyes are still closed shut, twitching slightly, his breathing seemingly heavy and unsteady. Confusion starts taking over the doctor's expression, while Katsu is still grasping at his waist.

As a drop of blood starts leaking from Katsu's neck Screks takes the chance to lean back down, licking the remaining blood away, not giving much thought to it, this makes the mage under him twitch once again at his touch, an unsteady gasp escaping his mouth as his eyes open back again slowly, staring at Screks who stares back. Once he starts to lift himself up, the doctor is stopped by Katsu's magical braid that rubs on the back of his neck, urging him not to move.

"Are you... alright?" - Screks questions, not really understanding what is up with his friend's reactions.

"Y-yeh uhm... I'm just a little tired and... you know..." - the mage looks away, his cheeks clearly flushed up.

"... I... know...?" - one of the doctor's eyebrows rises extravagantly.

As both stay in silence for a few moments, one of Katsu's hands slowly travels up toward Screks' face, caressing his cheek, as both look back at each other.

"... Can I kiss you...?" - the mage whispers softly.

Screks takes a moment. - "Sure..." - he finally answers.

Katsu's hand slowly travels from his friend's cheek to the back of his neck, gently pulling Screks towards him for a long soft kiss, that both relax into after a few moments.

They stare at each other for some seconds before Katsu starts to lift his torso up towards his friend, kissing him once again as he slowly sits up straight, bringing his friend up with him, the mage's hands tenderly clenching Screks' waist, who has his on the mage's shoulders.

While their lips are still touching Katsu gently rotates his friend and makes him lie down on the bed, making it so he is the one on top now. Their faces break apart.

Both stare at each other again, the mage's breathing still slightly heavy, while the tension from before seemed to now have completely left his friend's face.

"... Can I try something new?" - Katsu asks, his eyes fixed on Screks' with lingering passion.

"Uhm, alright." - his friend replies, not giving much thought to it.

"Open your mouth a bit and follow my lead." - the mage whispers as he closes the distance between them, and Screks follows, closing his eyes.

They kiss again but what was always just a soft tender touch begins to swift into something more intimate.

Screks gasps softly in between Katsu's lips and places his hands on his friend's neck, trying to follow what Katsu had told him, imitating his movements that slowly begin to pick up pace.

After a bit, the mage backs up, both now breathing heavier than before, a light redness also lingering on Screks' face. Katsu feels his body getting warmer.

"... Was that okay?" - the mage questions and his friend nods in response, looking sort of out of it.

Katsu leans back in, starting to kiss down Screks' neck gently, as his hands slowly travel up and down his friend's waist, caressing it.

"Katsu what..." - Screks mumbles quietly, but a strange kind of warmth makes him pause for a moment, as Katsu continues to kiss down his naked torso, completely lost in the moment, starting to reach the doctor's abdomen which makes Screks flitch, his face tensing up slightly. - "Wait, Katsu, what, what are you doing?" - he asks, reaching for his friend's arms, who immediately stops what he is doing to look up at Screks.

As Katsu sees his friend's face flooded with some uneasiness he immediately snaps back to reality, his eyes widening as he stumbles back, away from Screks.

"I...I..." - the mage reaches for his face, his hands shaking slightly. - "I'm sorry I thought-"

"Why... why are you saying sorry? I'm just ask-"

"I didn't mean to! I... I-I'm sorry I..." - panic starts settling in Katsu's mind, and he starts backing out of the bed. - "...I'm sorry..."

Screks blinks rapidly, trying to understand his friend's reaction and raises himself up looking at the shaky mage. - "...what?"

Katsu immediately looks away from Screks' gaze. - "I'm sorry, I'm uhm... I'm going to sleep in the village tonight." - Katsu gets up, quickly starting to put his shirt and cloak back on.

"What are you saying, what village? What-"

"I'm really sorry okay, I'm... I have to go." - Katsu doesn't let Screks finish his questioning nor dares to answer any of it, swiftly getting out of the room and leaving the doctor looking dumbfounded at the now empty doorway, not being able to process what had just happened.

He hears the sound of the house's teleporting device going off not long after.

Screks stays in silence in their now empty bedroom for some minutes. - "... What the actual fuck just happened...?"

He can barely get any sleep that night, as questions about what had happened that made Katsu leave out of nowhere and about where he had gone off to fill his mind.

As the next morning arrives he grabs a chair and sits in front of the teleporting machine, in the middle of the hallway, arms crossed and tiredly frowning, waiting for a certain mage to show up, but a few hours pass by and... nothing.

As the afternoon comes Screks decides to get up and clean the bloody mess off the kitchen table to try to distract himself, thinking that it's not actually been that long in perspective and that the dumb mage had probably just overslept. Upon throwing the last bit of bloody cloth into the trash he goes back to the corridor and sits back down on the chair he had put in the middle of it, staring at the handmade appliance on the end of the hall back again.

The night starts to make itself known and... there's no sight of Katsu coming back.

The quick and repetitive tapping of Screks' foot on the wooden floor fills the entire house as he stares intently at the teleport device, waiting.

"... He wouldn't leave without saying a word again... right?" - he mumbles to himself. - "... He fucking wouldn't dare..." - he gulps. - "R-right...?"

Screks stands up, starting to walk in circles in the middle of the hallway, stomping loudly.

"... He wouldn't make me go through that again..." - he whispers, as if trying to convince himself, but his expression, which now seems more aligned with distress other than anger, shows otherwise.

"... To the village he said... what village, what fucking village, I'm pretty sure even he is aware of how many fucking villages there are on this stupid planet, what FUCKING village?!" - the shouts, gesturing at every word, feeling his body start to tremble.

"Stupid, dumb mage and his stupid ideas where the fuck is he, where the fuck did he go, what in the actual fuck could he be doing out for this long? Doesn't he know I'm waiting for him?!?!" - Screks continues rambling to himself.

"...He knows I'm waiting for him..." - he freezes. - "... right...?..."

His gaze slowly drifts towards the teleporting device as his shakiness starts to become obvious.

"... He wouldn't do that to me again..." - his shaky legs give out, making him fall on the floor with a loud thud, his twitchy eyes fixed on the machine in front of him. - "...right...?"

Screks reaches for his head, breathing heavily, as panic starts to get the better of him. His body is shaking and he feels like he couldn't get up even if he wanted to, his vision starts getting blurry and his head pounds, making him grasp at it with one hand while he uses the other as support so he doesn't sink further into the floor.

Memories from all the years he was abandoned start flowing through his mind, his eyes open wider and his organic one starts watering slightly, he remembers the lonely coldness of each night, panting as he tries to remember how to breathe normally again, but his head is too full.

That's when the familiar sound of the teleport machine working fills the room, which snaps Screks back to reality, and he slowly starts to get up, clumsily patting at the wall for support. His mind submerged only in a deep desire for Katsu to be back.

Surely enough the silhouette of a tall figure with magical hair made into a braid starts appearing in the device in front of him, Katsu materializing into its place a few seconds after, he takes a step forward, out of the machine.

"...you..." - the doctor growls.

Hearing Screks' voice makes the mage slowly lift his eyes to see a tumbling Screks coming towards him, barely able to walk in a straight line. The mage's eyes widen as Screks uses all that is left of his strength to push Katsu by the collar towards the hallway's wall, still shaking vigorously.

"W-what hap-"

"YOU, YOU STUPID FUCKING IDIOTIC MAGE! BY THE GUARDIANS WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??? WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU GO?? NO, WHY THE ACTUAL FUCK DID YOU LEAVE, DO YOU LIKE TO MAKE PANIC????"

"W-wait what are you say-"

Screks slams Katsu into the painted wood with all his strength, which isn't much considering he can barely stand.

"DO YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY??? DO YOU THINK MAKING ME ALMOST FUCKING LOSE IT IS SOMETHING THATS OKAY TO DO TO SOMEONE??? TO A FRIEND???? DON'T YOU FUCKING KNOW ANY FUCKING BETTER??? DOES YOUR BIG STUPID MAGE BRAIN SOMETIMES JUST STOP WORKING??? DID YOU WANT TO MAKE ME FEEL LIKE CRAP??"

"Screks calm down what's-"

He slams Katsu again, tightening his grasp.

"I ASKED A QUESTION, ONE FUCKING QUESTION AND YOUR ANSWER WAS TO LEAVE? TO JUST LEAVE? YOU PROMISED ME, YOU FUCKING PROMISED ME YOU WOULDN'T LEAVE ME ALONE AGAIN, AND WHAT DID YOU DO, UH? WHAT DID YOU FUCKING DO? YOU FUCKING LEFT ME! WITHOUT EVEN SAYING WHERE YOU WERE GOING."

"Screks-"

"WITHOUT LEAVING ANY HINTS OTHER THAN "A VILLAGE" THAT, MIND YOU, DOES NOT ACCOUNT FOR FUCKING NOTHING! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY FUCKING VILLAGES THERE ARE? WAS I SUPPOSED TO SEARCH FOR YOU AGAIN? UH? FOR HOW LONG THIS TIME? FOR HOW LONG DID YOU THINK IT WAS OKAY TO JUST FUCKING LEAVE WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING, AGAIN? UH? A WEEK? A YEAR? A DECADE? DID YOU EVEN THINK FOR A SECOND HOW THAT MADE ME FEEL? I CAN'T EVEN FUCKING SLEEP WITHOUT YOU BY MY SIDE BECAUSE I FUCKING FREAK OUT, THINKING THAT YOU'RE JUST GOING TO LEAVE ME AGAIN! I ASKED A FUCKING STUPID QUESTION AND YOU JUST-"

"Cael!" - Katsu exclaims loudly finally being able to reach Screks who freezes up.

The mage holds his friend's face as a single tear rolls down Screks' face. He is breathing dangerously fast, his eyes pulsating, his body overburdened with genuine panic. - "I'm here, I didn't leave, I would never do that again, ever." - as confused and lost as the mage is, he tries to reassure his friend.

Screks loses all the strength still left in his legs, being held by Katsu who slowly goes down with him as the doctor tries to catch his breath, holding tightly at his chest hearing his heart beating loudly in his ears.

Katsu hugs him tightly, wrapping both his arms around his friend and pulling him close towards his chest. - "It's okay. Everything is okay. I'm here. Focus on my heartbeat. I didn't go anywhere. I'm right here. With you. Everything is okay." - he says in a soft gentle voice, not lighting his grip, while trying to understand what is going on.

They stay like that for a few moments, until eventually, Screks starts to slowly ground himself, listening to Katsu's heartbeat that was at first accelerated but eventually slowed down to its normal pace. Screks hugs the mage back, as tightly and closely as he can. He opens his mouth to say something but no sound comes out. He ends up simply nudging his face against Katsu's chest as if he hadn't seen him for a long time, which in Screks' tangled mind, was exactly what went on, or was about to.

"What happened...?" - Katsu asks confused, but more than anything worried for his friend.

The doctor takes a while to answer. - "... I thought you had left me again..." - Screks finally discloses.

They stay in silence for a few more seconds. The words Screks blurted out earlier start to sink into Katsu's consciousness as he begins to process them. His eyes water.

"...I'm sorry..." - the mage sobs, burrowing his head on the scientist's neck while his magical hair wraps around the both of them.

"... It's alright..." - Screks lightens his grip and places his organic hand on Katsu's head, caressing it gently and feeling its warmth.

"... No, no it's not..."

Silence fills the hallway once again.

As Screks starts to mostly recover all his senses he sniffs at Katsu, smelling an unpleasant and unfamiliar scent on him. He leans back slowly, breaking the embrace, and looks at him.

"... You were with another vampire." - the doctor affirms, confused.

"Uhm... well-"

"Why...?" - he questions.

Katsu responds by looking away. Screks takes a long look at his friend, trying to understand what happened and why did he have such a sour smell on him now of all times. Vampires are mostly lone beings that, in most cases, don't get along with their own species, using their scent to "mark" the places they usually go to and the people they are close with as a territorial thing, so other vampires know that somewhere or someone already belongs to another vampire's inner circle and don't get close.

"Wait... you... spent the night with someone?" - Screks asks raising an eyebrow.

"I... Yes, uhm... I... did, but-"

"Alright, but another vampire?" - he continues, crossing his arms.

"I mean like, I... They gave me the choice and I like..." - Katsu pauses, looking at Screks who looks back at him, both as confused as the other. - "... Is there a problem with that...?"

Screks backs out, losing himself in his own thoughts for a moment as a strange feeling starts poking at his chest.

"N...no...? I..." - the doctor shakes his head in an attempt to clear his mind a bit. - "Did you go to a whorehouse?"

"Uhm..." - Katsu looks away. - "Yeah...? Is there a problem... with that...? I've done this before I didn't think like-"

"N-no... No, no, no... uhm. You're a grown man you can do whatever you want, I just..." - the doctor pauses confused by his own reaction. - "I don't know alright, I don't... know..."

Silence fills the room once again.

"About last night..." - the mage picks the conversation back up.

"Yeah, why did you leave exactly?" - Screks asks looking at him in the eye and Katsu looks back.

"Wait... You didn't want me to leave...?

Confusion floods Screks' expression, he squints extravagantly. - "Why would I want you to leave?? Are you dumb??"

"Wait... What...?"

"Katsu, I asked you a question, and out of nowhere you got up and just fucking left."

They pause.

"I thought that I was doing something... wrong and that you wanted me to... stop...?"

At this point, Screks' face is nothing but a big interrogation point.

"Why?????"

"Because when other people usually ask those things it means something along the lines of that??"

"Katsu. I'm. Not. Other. People."

Katsus starts blinking rapidly, dumbfounded, starting to understand what actually happened yesterday.

"I was literally just asking a question."

"Oh."

"And you assumed I wanted you to stop??? I just got confused about what you were doing and you know... asked you??"

"Oh."

"And you got up and left???"

"Oh no, I'm... oh my Guardians..." - the mage covers his face with his palms, embarrassed. - "I'm so stupid..."

"This was a massive misunderstanding, wasn't it...?

Katsu nods and Screks lets out a long sigh.

"...I'm sorry..."

"It's... fine."

They both take a moment looking away from each other.

"Man."

"Yeah."

Katsu straightens himself up, looking at his friend again. - "Just to get this straight, you didn't... want me to stop?"

Screks' gaze drifts towards Katsu. - "No, not really." - he feels his face warming up slightly, which makes him look away, confused about the why of such a thing.

"Ca- I mean-"

"It's fine." - Screks interrupts his friend, looking him in the eyes once more.

Katsu pauses for a moment, this is new. - "...You sure...?"

Screks softly nods, and a light smile traces his friend's lips as he does so.

He stares into the doctor's eyes for a moment. - "Cael..." - the word comes out smoothly in a soft tone, well that felt good. - "Are you... uncomfortable with the thought of me... hooking up with people?" - he asks gently.

"I..."

"You can be honest with me."

Screks takes a few seconds to think.

"I... Personally would prefer it if you didn't, but you're your own person and I do not want to get in the way of what you want to do, that's..." - he freezes again, words feel difficult right now, which is unusual of him, to say the least, he licks his dry lips. - "That's... For you to decide for yourself..." - the doctor looks away slightly

"Cael..." - Katsu calls, his voice even more tender than before, getting his friend's attention back on him. - "Are you..." - he feels his face warming up a bit. - "Comfortable with the thought of having... a more... intimate relationship with me?"

Screks eyes him, squinting. - "... Katsu, I'm sorry but you have to be more specific."

"Do you want to have uhm..." - the mage asks himself why is this so difficult when he has hooked up multiple people before, and it has never been an issue. - "... Sexual intimacy with me...?"

Screks squints further.

Katsu lets out an awkward giggle. - "Do you want to want to have sex with me, Cael?" - this time the name comes out with a certain clumsiness to it, he feels his face flush up, not believing the words that just came out of his mouth.

"I mean, sure, eventually. If you guide me through it, slowly and have the patience to actually like, explain stuff to me because, honestly, that is something I haven't even thought about until this very moment." - Screks explains.

This time Katsu is the one who squints. - "... Do you feel sexually attracted towards me...?"

"Is that a thing?"

"W-what? Uhm, yeh... Yeah...?"

"Okay but like, an actual thing? Like not a..." - he bites at his lip, trying to find the right words. - "Not a... like, general uhm, joke? Like, actually do you like... Do you feel sexual attraction towards people? Like genuinely"

Katsu takes a moment, a long one. - "Uhm... yes it... it is and yeah I... do."

"Ah." - Screks pauses. - "I mean no, not really, but I don't think I feel that, at all." - he finally answers the mage's previous question, but something feels slightly off. - "At least I...  I don't think I do. I never did before."

"But... you're comfortable with the thought of like... me and you... having... you know...?" - Katsu looks at Screks closely, as if to search for even a hint of uncertainty.

"I mean, yeah, I don't mind that, if we take things slow." - but the mage doesn't find any.

Katsu starts chuckling quietly to himself.

"...What?" - confusion floods Screks' expression once again, and there he thought he was done with this bit.

"Sorry it's just... you're a really unique individual." - the mage giggles, a warmness fills in heart as he understands that now he knows a bit more about the man in front of him, something that probably no one else knows.

"Okay...?" - but that didn't really clear the doctor's confusion.

Katsu gets up extending his hand towards his friend, who takes it.

"Were you able to rest last night?" - the taller one questions.

"No, not really..." - Screks' tiredness starts to height on him.

Katsu starts taking his friend towards their bedroom, a gentle smile on his face, letting go of his hand as they reach the room and going to lay down on the bed, tapping at the place beside him, calling Screks who just stands at the entrance holding the door frame for a few moments before heading towards Katsu.

But, contrary to what the mage thought he was going to do, Screks gets on top of him, one hand on each side of his head, as their red eyes meet each other's, and slowly Screks leans down, kissing Katsu gently on the lips for a few seconds

"Do you want to continue with what we were doing yesterday?" - Katsu asks, caressing the doctor's warm organic cheek.

"I want you to guide me through it, slowly." - Screks responds, letting his weight fall onto Katsu's torso.

The mage takes the opportunity to flip their positions around, so they are the same as the previous day.

"Okay, but. I want you to tell me if anything ever feels bad or uncomfortable." - his tone gets slightly more serious.

Screks takes a moment, but then nods.

"I'm serious. I want you to actually answer, please, it's important." - the mage gently caresses his friend's cheek. - "And if for any reason you aren't able to talk, I want you to tap me three consecutive times and I will immediately stop whatever I'm doing, okay?"

"Alright, I got it."

As he hears Screks' consent and understanding, Katsu's serious expression goes soft, and his cheeks warm up. - "Good." - he says leaning him for another tender kiss as his hand travels down his friend's torso once again.
