Peering around the corner, Kiral double checked no one was there as he creeped down the hall. It wasn't usually like this, he lived in a perfectly safe mansion as a servant to take care of his master's child, Zechariah. No one bullied or picked on him, he got along well with all the other employs considering they had worked together for a few years now, but maybe that was the reason for his dilemma. Most weren't a fan of his cursed mutation, so in edition to his uniform, Kiral always wore a mask with a pretty red fox design that kept his curse from leaking out of their joints just in case they tried to get out and stroke someone. Despite their gooey black appearance, the curse had a mind of its own and was surprisingly friendly, taking after his own demeanor.

While having a break for lunch with the other employees, one of the newer ones questioned him about even taking his meals back to his room to eat despite how Kiral tended to spend half his time simply chatting with everyone to catch up before heading off. He clearly wasn't against hanging out for awhile with them, and they doubted anything he was hiding was terrible enough for such secrecy. Trying to dissuade the other with a small fib that he simply wasn't confident enough in his looks to face anyone, which had the opposite affect on the other youth who was instantly curious. He knew they meant well, but when they started trying to get closer with compliments and encouragement that they'd still say he was handsome no matter what to help with his confidence, it turned to unwanted pestering. Hence Kiral's sneaking around from the over zealous co worker. Granted, part of him was avoiding long conversation with the young master as well, afraid that they might also get curious enough to order his mask put away for the day.
