"...rma.. Karma!" Shoved to the side, Karma snapped out of his trance when he hit the hard dirt floor of the cave. Trying to push himself up was easier said than done however. The attempt making him recall the recent collision he had with the golem as a piece of pink crystal crumbled to the ground to join the others.

His arm, shattered and broken, reminded him to push up with his other, leaning back up against the cave wall just in time to see Ryo land the finishing blow against the rock creature. "Ahah, see, I knew you were impressive enough to do it in one shot." Joking as he always did, Karma was doing his best to keep his voice smooth, but even he could hear the quiver in his words. He knew Ryo's ears were sharper than his own too, so that wasn't about to get past them as they hurried over. "..Why did you block it?" Came the less expected question. Sometimes he forgot how smart Ryo was for his age, or in general really, skipping past the -Are you okay?- which was an obvious no. "Why? What sort of question is that," he chuckled shakily, letting his head rest back against the cool surface of the wall, "You're my cute younger charge, how can you expect me to let you get hurt?" That frown almost made him laugh, "Karma.." Waving his normal arm, he was pretty sure he could get away with a little teasing right now, "Teasing you helps calm me down, you wouldn't scold me for that would you? It'll grow back, it's okay." Big eyes weren't usually something that worked on Ryo, but having your arm scattered across the ground sure did make it more effective. Merely getting a growly sigh, they picked him up to carry away bridal style. While it wasn't his legs with a problem, Karma rested his head against their chest without his usual complaints toward the younger feral. He felt apologetic since Ryo probably would've avoided the attack on his own... but his body apparently refused to see another tragedy to someone he cared about in his lifetime, even if his mind would freeze up.
