Watching the downfall from the safety of the barn, Hiro was huddled up with a cluster of his own slimes, nearly indistinguishable save for the strange pair of mismatching ears on him. He absolutely hated the rain and always fled to the nearest shelter to bunker down during a storm. As he was hiding out in the hay, he watched the doors slowly get pushed closed by the rancher. Tilting his head slightly, it seemed they didn't know he had crawled himself in here and was watching the rain. There wasn't anything else to do, so he rolled out after it had been long enough for the rancher to be on to his next task already.

Returning to his hay bed, life was peaceful again everything was right with the world. For all of about ten minuets. He swore the rancher had some sort of mysterious sixth sense for something being slightly off, because he had soon returned to close the door once again. Alright, this time Hiro waited at least half an hour before he got up to open it once again; right into the rancher's face. They really did have some timing. He wasn't one for apologizing, but still hopped forward to rub against their leg, small enough to be picked up by the warpa. "Ah, so you were the culprit. Why don't you come inside? It's a lot warmer, and even brighter." Merely growling lightly in response, he was plenty warm enough now, "This was closer, it started to rain." Shaking their head, Rancher didn't always understand the slime feral, the house being a short jog away. "Alright then, let's go you." Stuffing the little blob under his shirt so they were blind and dry, he made a dash back for the house, knowing Hiro was sure to enjoy looking out the window from under a blanket instead.
