ABYSSTRANCE •  warrior
Abysstrance stared outside, rain dripping down the eaves above him. His long, tufted tail was arranged neatly over his paws, heterochromatic gaze fixed on an invisible point outside. Even if he‘d like to go outside, hunt something for the other members of his clan, not even the dead ghost of his mother would get him to act upon that thought. He had been taught that looking his best was essential. And that had kept him above the water so far.

With a low sigh he broke free from his fixation and turned to go further inside, inadvertently bumping into someone familiar on his way. “Oh, you again“, a low smirk made his way on his face, exceptionally masking whatever had been present before. “Not damp and mucky today, hmm?“
ABYSSTRANCE •  warrior
The abyssal tom sat on one of those strange, half dilapidated towers made by the paws of a furless being. No one had an idea what they were for but the material was great for sharpening his claws or simply using it as a sort of elevated stand to be able to look down on everyone else, as he did at exactly this moment. His heterochromatic gaze lazily roamed over the main room of their home, his tufted tail dangling over the edge of the platform and swinging back and forth in a rather hypnotic manner.

He had noticed that Ramdream and a bunch of the senior warriors, just a couple moons older than himself, had left together under some pretext a couple hours before. Usually he wouldn’t care, for none of them really especially much, but the fact that Jaystar allowed Ramdream to lead anything was a mystery to be discovered, stirring up his sense of curiosity.

If not for the fact that he didn’t want to ruin Jaystar‘s plans, if there were any, he‘d probably have followed along - no, even if he‘d ruined anything he would’ve followed behind. He‘d just missed his chance.

Abysstrance sighed, laying his head down on his paws. He‘d gotten bored of feather collecting fast and couldn’t think of a new short-lived hobby. Maybe he‘d give the feathers to Ramdream, surely she‘d need it to not freeze to death in Leafbare. Or to Pearlshimmer and her kits, they should be old enough to run around by now, no?
