It was a nice sunny day in the peak, ever so what the Fallen had wanted. Harrison spent his time alone at home, tending to his garden in the back. He thought he would be here the whole day if it wasn’t for a familiar voice.

“Oh, Harrison!” A fairly cheerful Heavenly approached the fence of the garden. Harrison looked up to his friend, it was Yurias. While Harrison didn’t mind having fallen all that much, it does get quite lonely without his brother at home most of the time, so having a friend he can spend time with sometimes was good for him. He put down his tools and looked at Yurias.
“Hello Yurias, nice to see you.” The usual cold and monotone response that Harrison gave, yet there can’t help but feel something else behind it.

“Uhm, Harrison, your tails?” The taller one pointed toward the shorter one’s tails, which moved quite a bit. Harrison grabbed them, and then let go, letting them rest closer to the ground. He looked at Yurias, just a blank stare. He ended up dusting off his apron with his hands, and walked over to the fence, closer to Yurias. Harrison never really got to properly think about how Yurias looked. He was never one to think someone was pretty, but this was certainly a case of this. Yurias put his hand on Harrison’s shoulder to get the puppy’s attention.

“Oh. Erm, sorry.” Harrison quickly apologized, getting back on track. “What do you want to do?” Harrison asked the other, he never really made plans, so he normally left it to Yurias.

“Let’s just walk around and see what seems interesting,” Yurias said, ever so gleefully. There was something about Yurias that made Harrison feel… happy. He wasn’t sure about what it was, but that wasn’t something to dwell on. The puppy made his way out of the backyard through the gate and went with Yurias to go around the peak. It wasn’t every day that Harrison did this, let alone with someone else. It was fairly peaceful in the peak, and seeing Angemos almost every day. While they usually did what Yurias did, today was a little different as it looked to be mostly what Harrison had wanted to do. They went to a few shops and some bakeries, but due to Harrison working his two jobs as a florist and barista, he never got to go out like this.

“So, Harrison, how has life been?” Yurias asked, despite not much talking from either of them, the puppy was getting antsy for the taller one to say something.

“Life? It’s the same as always, that’s for sure.” Harrison had said quite plainly, not paying any attention to Yurias’ frown.

“No interesting people?” Yurias asked, causing Harrison to look right at him with a blank stare, and then he simply shook his head, affirming that no interesting people really were around. They started to talk about a few other things, trying to find a topic they could stay on for a long bit. There was only one topic that could get Harrison going for a bit, and it was plants. It wasn’t out of the usual for Harrison to talk about such, although one could assume he didn’t like to talk due to how quiet he was. Usually only family and Yurias could get him to say more than a word or two.

“...And then… wait. I’ve been talking this whole time, haven’t I?” Harrison finally got snapped out of his long tangent in regards to Venus flytraps, looking right at Yurias, waiting for his word.

“Oh, yes. That isn’t a bad thing, no?” Yurias replied back, looking at Harrison. The two for the most part have the perfect difference in terms of height to look at each other in the eyes. He watched Harrison stare at him blankly. The Fallen raised his eyebrow at Yurias, getting a small chuckle out of him.

“What are you laughing at???” Harrison wasn’t expecting to get a small laugh out of Yurias, after all, he did just look at him, that’s all.

“Oh, nothing… hehe… you’re so cute,” Yurias said to himself quietly, looking at Harrison fondly. This confused Harrison so much that he just started to walk away, causing Yurias to worry a little bit and follow him. They talked a little bit more, just now making their way back to Harrison’s place. It wasn’t like Yurias never seen the place before, he had, it’s just he always happened to be busy, but today was different. He had enough faith in himself and knew if anything bad was going to happen, he could just go immediately, after all, Harrison knew very well how it all worked.

It took a little bit for them to arrive back at Harrison’s place, and both could tell that Harrison’s brother, Mariam, was home. The Fallen sighed and told Yurias to wait outside as he went inside. The Heavenly stood out there for a moment and after some minutes, was told he could come inside.

“Sorry, Mariam kept telling me ‘I told you so’,” Harrison was apologetic as usual, but he was told that it was fine. When Yurias came inside, he looked at Mariam, who was sitting on the couch, sweating. Harrison must have really said something to them to get them like that, Yurias thought. He did stop thinking about what Harrison could have said when he saw the Fallen go into the kitchen.

“You should probably supervise him, you know how he is,” Mariam remarked, looking at Yurias. He blinked at them for a moment, but then realized exactly what they were talking about, and made his way into the kitchen. While Harrison does cook fairly well, that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be reckless about missing things.

“Uhm, do you need help?” Yurias asked Harrison, causing the puppy to look right at him.

“Sure,” Harrison said, grabbing a kitchen apron for Yurias, with the taller replying ‘thank you’ quietly. It was good for them to spend time together like this, and while Harrison could live on his own, Yurias knew very well he needed his brother to live with him. The two simply worked in the kitchen, with Harrison telling Yurias a little bit about his younger years. While the two did go to the same school, it was almost like they didn’t exist to each other at that time, and it seemed that fate brought them together, despite fate having different plans for each other. Nevertheless, they eventually finished dinner and ate. Yurias, Harrison, and Mariam all casually spoke with each other, with Mariam being asked about their day of guardian work.

Eventually, it was getting late, and Mariam needed to go out again, with Harrison being a little tired. Yurias picked Harrison up, which startled him a bit, but soon adjusted to holding on. The Heavenly carried him to bed, setting him down in bed, although just about when Yurias going to let go, Harrison held on.

“Harrison???? You need to let go…” Yurias sweated slightly, as Harrison clung to his arm even more. Yurias just looked at Harrison, as he got stared back at.

“Please…” Harrison begged it felt nice to be cared for, and he didn’t want to let go just yet. Yuris couldn’t help but give in though.

“Fine…” Yurias went into bed with Harrison, holding him closely. It felt nice and warm to be in each other’s embrace. It was comfortable and felt familiar. Harrison soon fell asleep though after talking a little bit. Yurias pet the puppy’s head and said.

“Good night Harrison.”
