Shuffling the deck of cards, Lucy watched the gentle sway of the dancers on stage. They were of course all lovely in their straps and glitter, but he didn't envy them. Their job was fun, but he made more money at his table, that was the important part to him. Sadly, today he hadn't been allowed to set up his gambling table, instead, both him and it was dressed in a purple satin. His normal deck replaced with a stack of tarot cards. Even more sad, Big Mama hadn't allowed him to borrow the girl's glitter to cover it, something about it already being impossible to fully clean off the stage. She apparently didn't need it spreading. Which. Fair. But he would totally be into a sparkly floor if it wouldn't have been his responsibility to get it out after.

Cutting the deck with his normal flourish, he had absolutely no idea how to read them, but a quick skim on the internet gave him a general idea. Thankfully his main job consisted of lies and deception, so the few people that came for a reading at least left without suspecting a thing. Maybe if he ever got kicked out for sassing Big Mama, he'd go be a fortune teller and just hand out random advice.

Drawing out a few cards for himself since it was a quiet hour, he studied the pictures intensely. Still having only a vague idea of what they meant, but he had an act to keep up. Whatever they were, however, seemed to be good as he saw a dark cloaked figure with a familiar air wander in. Lucy could recognize Zenon no matter what he did or didn't wear at this point. "Welcome weary traveler~ The cards told me you would be arriving around this hour."
