Introduction

It was quite a windy day and the sun was barely keeping Plum warm. She hated the wind. It was messing with her fur on top of making her cold and shivering. If it wasn't for the event and the gorgeous landscape, the pink froad would have stayed home. One of her close friend told her that this event would be really interesting and had managed to spark curiosity in Plum's mind. Her friend hadn't told her clearly what the event was about, and as soon as the froad stepped into the clearing and saw the tents, she cursed her friend. It wasn't the kind of event she usually participated in! Froads were wandering around the clearing, walking in mud and sand or stepping out of tents make out of beige fabric. From what she could see, it didn't looked very comfortable. Her back was already killing her just from thinking of having to sleep in such a place. Someone bumped into her, and as she almost fell an helping hand emerged from a pile of rusted tools.

- Oh my, sorry! I didn't see you there!

Plum took some time to examine the froad in front of her - or at least the one that was hiding behind all the tools. It was an elegant looking froad, with brown markings that reminded her of coffee beans. They had tentacles coming out of their body in multiple places and gorgeous hair. She smiled as the other froad was struggling to look at her. The amount of tools such as shivels, shovels and bucket in the froad's hands was ridiculous.

- It's fine my friend. Do you need a hand?

The white and brown froad nodded - or that's what Plum thought because a shivel from the trembling pile.

- I would appreciate it very much so!

Plum laughed and took the three buckets, and placed some of the tools in them. She was taller than the stranger next to her and was able to lift more material than them. She thought it would be nice to introduce herself.

- Oh, by the way my name's Plum. I'm in the... "Ivory Cadet" team.

She had to take out the paper with her inscription form on it because she couldn't remember the name of her team. She didn't thought it fitted her appearance very much. The rival team - the Scarlet Smashers - would have fit her like a glove. Whatever, she wasn't sure that would stay for long here anyway. The white froad started walking towards one of the bigger tents, and she realised it was were froads were going to get items. It must have been their shed. It looked a lot stronger than the other tents in her opinion. She noticed a small froad with enormous tusk standing near the entrance with some papers in her hands. She was checking everything that was going in and out of that tent. The white froad replied with a sound of relief in their voice:

- I'm Tasi ! Tasi Darya. I'm also in team Ivory Cadet, I mean I guess you can see it because of the paint on my face.

Plum hadn't noticed it but Tasi did have some green and brown paint on her face. She wondered if she would have to put some on her face, and if it would wash away easily or if it would stain her fur. As they approached the fluffy brown froad, Tasi told her that this froad was the Ivory Cadet leader: Anning. Despite her size she was quite stubborn and determined to win the game - something that Plum liked. Once they had put down the tools and materials that the two froads were transporting, they went to meet Anning.

- Ah that's a new face I see there! I'm Anning, who are you?

- Tasi already told me about you. I'm Plum, nice to meet you! It's such a pretty place you found there. I can't wait to participate in some of the activities for this event!

Anning grinned and seemed glad to have a new member so determined.

- That's nice! I'm sure we'll win now that you're here
