Sterling is a stallion who lives in The Kingdom of Life around the outskirts of it but has his shop in the main city. Sterling owns a toy shop, a shop his father used to own but was passed onto him. Sterling has a kind, charismatic, charming, welcoming, absent minded, easily excitable, friendly, gentle and caring personality, he is a bit stubborn sometimes and can be secluded at times due to the fact, he doesn’t have either of his parents in his life since they both passed by natural causes and has an two siblings he hasn’t spoken to in a while. Sterling is actually quite lonely so he finds joy in giving joy to kids by selling his toys and such. Sterling spends a lot of his time alone when he’s not open, having a few hobbies such as reading, cooking, writing and inventing, some toys he sells he actually invented which is why his business is so successful because his father also did which is why he started the toy shop in the first place. 

Sterling is very quiet about his personal life and doesn’t speak much about himself, he is also definitely a people pleaser as he will try anything to keep others happy. Sterling also delivers toys himself and has been all around, his favorite place he visited was Silence as he loves snow and the season of winter and wishes for more. 

Sterling wears a teddy bear pin that he received from his mother when he just got ownership of the shop, his mother was still alive after his father passed so the two spent most of their time together until she herself passed. Due to his parents both passing from natural causes, Sterling may seem to be around the same age as Ezekiel,maybe a bit younger. 

Sterling is a good friend of Gabriel, the two met on a strange occurrence, the way they met was because Gabriel officiated both his parents' funerals. Gabriel is always kind to clients but with Sterling, he felt like he was a friend Sterling has known for the longest time. The two got along easily and eventually started hanging out outside of Funerals. Gabriel does live in Kingdom of Life as well so he visits Sterling’s toy shop here and then. He usually stops by to buy something or just to speak to him. Sterling has also met Leo once or twice since Leo would join Gabriel whenever he visited Kingdom of Life. Sterling is friends with most of his clients but Gabriel is the one who considers his best friend since Sterling sometimes has a hard time making close friends since he doesn’t speak much about himself or personal life. 

His toy shop is very well known so he gets all types of clients from all around the world, especially ones who have young kids or are expecting children. He befriends his frequent visitors which include mostly Walter and Ezekiel, Walter visits Sterling for pocket watch parts since Sterling himself is also an inventor and has a lot of spare parts so he gives them to Walter for his pocket watches that he makes. 

Ezekiel comes all the way to Silence to get gifts for his daughters and as of recent buy baby toys since Ezekiel is expecting. Ezekiel admires Sterlings work so he asks him plenty of questions about his creative process which caused them to become quick friends.

Victor only recently started visiting his toy shop for his twins buying small things but due to him working often, he isn’t seen often so Sterling doesn’t consider him a frequent client. 

Sterling has met Eyvindr before or at least his father has, Eyvindr was a frequent client back then when Sterling’s father was alive due to the fact he would try to buy gifts for Ezekiel. Sterling looked up to him when he was a foal alongside his dad, Eyvindr even babysitting at times if needed. Nowadays Sterling still looks up to Eyvindr, may even see him as a father figure at the moment since Eyvindr has a longer life due to his breed. Sterling cares for him deeply and will try to help Eyvindr the best he can. 

Sterling has no wife or kids due to the fact he actually doesn’t have much interest in starting a family surprisingly. It seems he may be on a similar spectrum as Gabriel as the two both don’t have their own families at their age. It is unknown why they don’t have interest. 

His father liked birds and his mother liked bunnies. His father’s favorite color was blue. 

Sterling raised Camille for most of his life due to Camille’s parents both working tough jobs so they were barely home. Sterling owned the toy shop at the time Camille was a foal so he lived in it for all his childhood and teen hood and left when he became an adult. Sterling spoiled Camille often and cared for him dearly, his parents loving Camille too and taking him when they came back from work, some days Camille wasn’t with Sterling due to either both his parents staying home from work or such. Camille seems to have more of a connection to Sterling then his own parents but he appreciates them too. Sterling was the one Camille told first that he was transgender and Sterling helped fund the transition.
