Niles is the son of Mavrica and Adham is two years older than Basil since Mavica had him early. Niles is a hybrid human who lives with his mother Mavica and his godmother Salem at the moment, he has met Basil a few times since Salem has been showing Niles life in the castle so he can be a guard when he’s older. Niles seems to like Enjolras and worries about his self-esteem since he does notice Enjolras is down quite often. Niles and Enjolras get along well and sometimes Niles hangs out with Enjolras more than doing his duties to keep him company. Niles also trains under Ames to see the El Amor Royale side of things. Niles seems to prefer Silence more though, not minding the cold.

Niles is indeed born into a poor family since his mother didn’t have much to offer at the moment she found out she was pregnant with him so Salem is their lifesaver. Niles though is technically royalty because of his father’s background but Mavica has been keeping that hidden from him to not know the truth about his father. He also notices his mother can be distant a bit since she fears he will become like Adham but Niles has been doing his best to show his mother, his humble personality. Of course, though he can have an attitude which is the only thing he got from his father he isn’t usually like that. Niles is very gentle with his mother despite being a young teenager, he still likes to be clingy to his mother since he was like that as a baby. He sleeps a lot too and is usually quiet and a good listener. He is also raised by both Salem and Mavica so he takes some personality traits from Salem.

Niles is a hard worker as well and is ambitious, always trying to get into something new. Niles has short blonde hair and green eyes, he seems to have a joyful expression on his face all the time and is usually very friendly and carefree, being popular in school. 

His dream job is to work for Ciriaco as one of his royal advisors or guards. He is fascinated by Silence’s winter and also likes to visit other places too. He’s still young but he plans to travel eventually. He is known to be brave, kind, polite, proper,intelligent, creative, takes responsibility, sensitive, emotional, truthful and pure of heart but sometimes can be snobby, inconsiderate, impatient or annoyed by the smallest things, he gets frustrated pretty easily too but he always knows how to calm himself down. He seems to like spiders being fascinated by them. He also is quite the fun or troublemaking like person. He tends to hang out with Enjolras a lot.

Oliver seems to bully Niles due to finding out who his father is. Oliver thinks Niles is going to become just like him so he despises him and tends to harass him often. Jesper doesn’t seem to like Oliver’s behavior but is too afraid to speak up but he definitely is friends with Niles and tries to apologize on his brother’s behalf. 

Due to Oliver’s aggressive bullying, Niles has panic attacks often whenever Oliver bullies him. Niles gets extremely overwhelmed and in his head so he tends to stress himself out and hyperventilate and usually after his attacks or even during he faints and feels weak so he always needs to sleep after one. Mavrica had tried everything in her power to help her son but Mavrica or even Salem aren’t aware of Niles’ harsh bullying. Oliver calls him a dumb blonde often due to stereotyping him and also sees him as clueless so Oliver finds him an easy target.
