First encounter with a black cat

While minding your own business you come across, it in one of the back alleys of a small town near Grimglow Lake. There is nothing on the shop front that could really indicate to you what it sells. In the showcase, you can see a lot of things neatly organized on the shelf covered with dark purple velvet. From multicolored candles to obscure books with long faded titles to all types of crystals to small charms. You can feel it, here the magic is different.

Using a good part of your willpower you enter the shop, a carillon jingle when you open the door. The light is dim in the shop and none is here to be seen. You begin to look around it seems you are in a witchcraft shop, everything you need to practice is here. You head toward the counter, still none, but there is a hot cup of tea on it. Just as you were about to call to see if anyone was in there you heard behind you a low and monotone "Greetings Stranger."

You turn back to meet with a dark Chirrak, she really looks like a black Felifae, but she is floating a few inches above the ground and she is emitting a faint light. Her bright green eyes seem to break through your body to read your soul, it's really uncomfortable... You spend some long minutes looking at each other in an awkward silence. Finally, the dark chirrak makes a move, she moved to the counter, not even bothering to get around it, and she phases through it and takes the typical shop owner's place.

"Do you need to buy something Stranger ? Or are you here for my services ?" This question caught you off guard, but you quickly reminded that you are in a shop and she is probably the owner. More over you are in a witchcraft shop soooo she is probably a witch, right? At least all in here made you think she isn't a normal chirrak... You answer that you are not interested in anything, you don't even know why in the first place you entered this shop. She let out a small disappointed "Ho~". Guilt quickly began to build as you looked around the shop. Something in her eyes seemed so excited when you entered the shop, you had seen this light shut. You can't bear this anymore, impulsivity reach out for a small silver ring tied to a leather strap and bring it to the counter.

The light in the eye of the shop owner lights up again! You ask for the shop owner's name, just to try to be a little more friendly. "My name is Hecate, you have made a good choice Stranger, it's a protection charm... Is it for offering to someone ?" You answer that you don't know yet, Hecate looks a you strangely. She warp the cham, draw a wired sign on top, and hold it in her hand for a bit, she seems concentrated she even begins to glow stronger. "Take it, it doesn't have to be a present but this way you will know who this item should belong to. May you always find your path, Stranger..."

As you exit the shop you feel strangely relieved and hug a little tighter your pakage. Something tells you that today will be a good day!
