it was a cold night, with strong winds howling over the earth, freezing the trees and plants, as well as any unfortunate creature that happened to be inside, quickly and swiftly covering them in an icy cold blanket of snow. Hearing this cold storm outside, she sat awake in bed, shivering, both in cold and in fear of what it was like outside. Her name was Sugar, a Sphynx cat and was almost comically out of place on the large bed, because of how small she was.

But, happily sleeping next to her, was her mate, an Asian Golden cat, named Koala. Sugar didn't even reach Koala's hip in height and she herself could fit twice in just one of Koala's legs. The bed was just a bit bigger than Koala, making both seem comically out of place; Sugar being to small and Koala being to big. But along with her size, Koala also sported a large amount of fluff. Sugar smiled at the calm yet ferocious face Koala had. While some would fear it, she loved it. She scooted closer, putting her paws on and around Koala's body, at least as far as they could go, snuggling herself in Koala's warmth.

Koala stirred while she slept, bringing up one of her massive paws, wrapping it around Sugar and pulling her even closer, planting a kiss on Sugar's head, also making her own large nose ring softly bounce on Sugar's hair. Sugar couldn't help but giggle at this situation, of how different they were, yet they were one another's mates, big and small. In the end she didn't care about their differences, she just loved Koala.

Koala rolled over in her sleep, pinning Sugar on the bed, with her small head just sticking out above Koala's shoulder. Koala might be big and heavy, but as cold as it was outside, Koala was always warm. She just pulled herself into the fluff, while listening to Koala's calm breathing, feeling the lungs fill up with air and release again, all while ruffling her fur against and over Sugar, who didn't mind being pinned at all. In cold times like this, it was the best way to stay warm.

So, as the wind continued howling, as heavy snowfall blanketed the earth, the plants, trees, animals and other unfortunate creatures outside, Sugar didn't have a care in the world, having a big, large, soft, fluffy pillow of fur to keep her warm. And with the howling sounds outside, the quick rustling of heavy snow fall, the soft yet strong breathing in her ear, the fluffing fur which she snuggled, Sugar was slowly but surely drifting of to sleep, with a perfect and calm symphony gently lulling her to dreamland, where more fluffy cuddles awaited.

On cold nights like that, with a big fluffy pillow, Sugar's dreams were always filled with more soft and fluffy cuddles, all of which came from and through Koala. While it was cold, these nights held the best fluffy dreams.
