Andy wasn’t expecting Spare to be so close by and stares back, blinks, and then gives a lil tiny wave and a smile. He’s also in his pjs so the sweater in question’s in his arms. “S-Sorry if I was interrupting anything. I just wasn’t sure if this could stain or not.”

scratches at the goo stain. temporally forgets andy is there as he looks at the tag 

"maybe i stored the solution wrong..." snaps at andy. hi you're still there "Ah! Right, no, you're... not interrupting anything." he says as he stinks like fucking tobacco
"This... this shouldn't... stain? Stain." hands back "Sorry if it does, I... I'll fix it up for you."

It’s a fleece sweater.  
Andy is content to wait there patiently while Spare looks it over, but does note the odor at some point and he winces in displeasure. The expression is gone by time Spare finally looks at him.  
“A-Alright. I’ll take your word for it.” He smiles. “Also, I wanted to thank you for this.” Gives his sweater a lil shake. “It was a real confidence booster knowing I was a little more safe than before. E-Especially after having a bomb thrown my way.”

"I... thanks. That..." he was debating whether saying 'that means a lot to me right now' is saying too much but another thought interrupts him "...You have enough trust in me that getting sprayed in my goo was a confidence boost?"

Andy pauses, blinks, and suddenly lets out a snort. “W-Well if you’re gonna word it like that-“ He laughs.  
“But- But no. I-I mean yes, but, it felt very uh.. what’s the word..” He drums his fingers over the sweater. “Sturdy. It felt very sturdy. I’m aware it might not have saved me from also getting punched into a wall, but I could at least handle a hit or something similar while Libby was pinned.”

I mean I couldn't take all the credit for it, I have a friend in Chemical Engineering who uh... was helping work on this kind of thing." i.e. malek was in chemical engineering and he picked up on a few things. and also based the goo armor off of his work. "I uh... haven't ever actually seen this stuff actually take a hit on the field yet... don't take that as me asking you to actually try and check if it works or anything like that next time I hit you with this."

"You should... probably scrub that sweater clean before you put it in the wash, by the way. Let me know if anything else happens to it, and uh... is... is that... everything?"

There’s still faint traces of tobacco coming from Spare. “Um- I g-guess so? Though I kinda wanted to ask if you’re doing okay.”
