The Clan Cats worship Sunclan and Moonclan, both of which ruling over the living cats. A cat from the afterlife usually names kits and warriors. A cat who dies will be granted their warrior name upon entry, though usually a living relative of the cat names them in the case that they die. The kits of a leader always die, though one shall live as they are decided by Moonclan to be the next heir to the leader. Starclan cats are the equivalent to the Dark Forest, said to have been exiled from Moonclan. 

Sunclan: 

The afterlife for particularly heroic cats, leaders and the creators of the clans. It is incredibly rare to be visited by a Sunclan cat and kits who are named by Sunclan cats are said to be chosen to do something great. Leaders who are named by Sunclan cats receive 9 lives instead of 3. Sunclan cats are said to have the same wings that Moonclan cats have, yet theirs are golden and they are also adorned by halos that are like the sun itself. They give off a warm, golden glow and are far larger than the average cat, looking more like a lion than anything.

Moonclan:

a sort of afterlife for deceased cats. All cats go to Moonclan apart from particularly heroic cats, who go to Sunclan. Moonclan cats make up very nearly all cats who pass away, these cats naming kits and warriors and sending prophecies to the living cats. They are said to have a white glow and look like a spirit, also having wings that cover their faces and back. Their voices echo from the sky, sending a breeze through the clans like a bird's song and speaking of future events. Only some cats can hear their whispers though.

Starclan:

The equivalent of the Dark Forest (due to the belief that the stars show the cats alone and wandering the pick black sky forever). These cats usually look rotten and decaying, with tree roots usually surrounding and binding them over time. Cats believe that if you look up at the stars, they can talk back to you and warp you.
