A Visitor

"Amsi...I'm surprised to see you here. The last time you came to visit me, I had the guards throw you out and gave them specific orders to never let you back in. But seeing as you're here...I can only assume you've done something to them" Raziya stated as Amsi gave an expression of feign innocence.
"What? Me? I've done no such thing. In fact, I bet if you were to go out and check on your guards, they'd be perfectly fine and intact"
"...I'll take your word for it." Raziya replied, moving her ebony hair out of her steel colored eyes.

"Assuming you didn't use dark magic on my guards and they let you in willingly, why are you here?"
"Just coming to check in on my future test subject and maybe show you a few things I've learned since our last meeting. I'm always improving, after all" Amsi replied with a prideful smirk on his face as Raziya rolled her eyes, shifting slightly in her throne.
"I'm not interested in your dark magic or necromancy, Amsi. You know this by now.
"And you know that I must always come by to show you how much greater I am than you" Amsi retorted, the smirk that stayed on his face causing Raziya to glare at him.

She sighed quietly as she stood up and started making her way over to necromancer in training. "Let's get a few things straightened out, shall we. You're only here so I can boost your ego, right? You're here to show me what you've, so-called, 'improved' in so that I can grace you with praise...which is a usual for you. So, I'll just go ahead and say this. Yes, Amsi, you're better than me. Even though I, clearly, rule over the land, you are better than me. Especially when it comes to dark magic and necromancy."

"You forgot that I'm better at everything" Amsi corrected as Raziya rolled her eyes and sighed quietly "Yes, you're better at me when it comes to everything. That better?"
"Very"
"Good. Hopefully, that will keep your ego at bay long enough for me to get a break from you. Now, if you would kindly..." Raziya stated as she gestured towards the door of the throne room, silently telling Amsi to leave. Amsi smirked as he started to walk off just as Raziya turned her back to him. She hadn't noticed the glowing purple hieroglyphs surrounding his hand nor felt the effects until she turned around to say something. However, when she opened her mouth, no words or sound came out, surprising her.

She tried to call out to Amsi again, but came up with the same results. Amsi smirked as he glanced over his shoulder "You know I always have to play a trick on you before I leave. Don't worry, it's temporary...possibly" he replied as Raziya called his name, only to hear nothing as she continued to shout his name to his retreating back. She gave a silent groan of annoyance as she practically fell into her throne with her arms crossed.
Maybe she should start learning about black magic so she can get Amsi back for all his mischievous tricks.
