Another entry for an event on the Terralien discord. This piece is a simple, cozy one-shot including my own, and my partners characters.

As the cold, sharp wind howled loudly outside, the carefully crafted wooden cabin held strong within the storm. No matter how intense the blistering air became, the creatures that lived inside of the small, cozy home went along with their life, unbothered by what was happening on the outside. If you traveled close enough to the little building, your ears would be able to pick up the faintest sound of music being played. The melody wasn't foreign during this time of year, as it was clearly Christmas carols being played. To be honest with you, the owner of the radio had the station on for hours at this point. Somehow the other residents within the home haven't even tried to protest at all with the other's taste in music.

A young, ladybug carrying Terralien that went by the name Tento, sat silently upon a plush couch. They were reading a large book, written by one of their favorite authors and bundled by their side was Luo Xingqui. Luo Xingqui, quite like Tento was unable to speak, but unlike Tento, it had little interest in the holidays. However despite this, it was willing to participate in holiday related activities with little to no hesitance.

Another Terra, Chen Zhou, hummed along with a majority of the holiday jingles that came from the radio. Yet his roommate, Jing Zhen didn't seem at all happy with how the other guests so openly embraced Christmas in such a way. The thought and feelings were foreign to him, as Jing Zhen never had much holiday cheer. Chen Zhou never tried to force his friend into liking them however. In his mind, it was a delicate process--- making someone enjoy or feel neutral towards something they previously disliked.

With a content and comfortable coo, Luo Xingqui curled up and began to fall into a deep slumber. The atmosphere within the warm cabin was enough to make even the most stoic of characters feel relaxed. Their troubles and woes would slip away for a time, and it was enough to make many melt into their own chairs of the cushions they sat upon.

As the radio continued to softly play it's holiday melody, and Chen Zhou whistled and hummed to the lovely and catchy tunes that played, nobody within the home wanted the day to end.

No speaking was needed in order to enjoy the presence of another. With Tento gently flipping through the pages within their book written by Stephen King, and Jing Zhen silently petting the soft, pitch black feathers upon Luo Xingqui's back, it was almost as if the world outside mattered little. For no matter what their past, present or future held, these four would support each other through thick and thin.
