A Prince and A Pixie

The Wind stirred up a Pile of Leaves as a Purple/pink Poodle, and a Bown/White Corgi Walked Through the Nature Preserve. The Mid Morning air was clear and crisp, with a scent of Apple and wildflowers from a nearby Field, All Was Peaceful and quiet till... "Can you Believe the gall of that Thieving Beast Alexios?" The Purple Poodle Asked his Corgi Knight "Nope I can`t Prince." Alexios Replied, "I mean Stealing my Crown and Running off What a Horrible Disgusting Evil little Rodent!" Alexios Rolled His Eyes and Sighed as he lead the Way "Prince can we Focus on our Lost Situation before you go on a Ranting Spree About the Raccoon again?" Prince stood in shock of what his Knight had said before yelling "I Do not go on Ranting Spree`s! But When it comes to my Crown being Stolen I do Get ANGRY!!! We Must Find that Beast!!" Alexios Shook his head and tried to calm him down when....

*Rustle Rustle, Snap* "Prince Get Back" Alexios Said as he drew his Sword, Just as a Ram came Charging out of the Bushes heading right for them, it turned just as Alexios Swung his Sword and missed. "Ugh I hate Nature.." Prince Started Saying right before he was interupted by a new Voice. 

They Both Turned toward the new voice both on Edge. Standing Before them was a Beautiful Light brown,Pink,Yellow and Off White Female Poodle. "You do Realize if his Sword had injured and or killed that Sierra Nevada Bighorn Sheep, you both would be in some HUGE Trouble right? I mean i would have to report you and have you both arrested!" The Female Poodle has said to Prince. "Who are you and how dare you Threaten us, Don`t you know who i am? I am a Prince!!" Alexios put his Sword away watching the Two, The Female Poodle Yawned and Stretched before Replying, "Really well then if you are a Prince, then where is your Crown Princely-Paws?, and if you Must know my name is Pixie, and i only told you what would happen if you injured or killed that endangered animal, after all it is my duty as a Park Ranger to report a crime!".

Alexios put his ears back, his eyes got wide as he backed up a step "You shouldn`t have asked about the crown..." he told Pixie as his voice trailed off. She looked at the Corgi in confusion, then at Prince who was Turning red with Rage, "If you MUST Know a furry little Disgusting Rodent Stole it from me and we got lost chasing it, and we still haven`t gotten my Crown back!!" Pixie Scratched behind her ear then rubbed up against a nearby tree, "Seriously, might i ask what type of animal it was...." *Chitter,Chitter* "Ah Bandit There you are, you little Coon you!" Prince shouted as he seen the coon climbing down the tree. "Alexios it`s the Beast get him!!"

Alexios was getting ready to pull his Sword when Pixie jumped forward and snapped at them both in warning, Sending both of them down in a sitting position." Pixie went back to the tree, "How many times do i have to warn you two about Attacking the animals here huh?" "Now Bandit did you steal his Crown? Give it back to me please." *Chitter,Chitter* Bandit handed it back  and took off back up the tree. "Now you see All you had to do was ask for it back nicely! He does this stuff all the time trying to play with visitors." Pixie explained to them both as she handed his crown back.

Prince took it back, but looked sorry just as much as Alexios did. Both Apologized for jumping to conclusions, and attacking the animals. "It`s not me you should apologize to" Pixie said looking at Bandit. Both Boys Sighed "Sorry Bandit". "Now that all of that is Settled why don`t I  Show you two back to the entrance of the Preserve?" 

Prince Stayed Quiet till they Reached the entrance of the Preserve. "Thanks for saving us, My crown and well...Sorry for my Attitude." He said walking off with his head down, Alexios Thanked her as well and bolted after prince. "You`re Welcome!" Pixie Called after them.

A Few Days Later (After a huge Storm)

"It`s Official" Pixie perked up, "What`s Official Boss?" She asked. "We have little to no funds left and the preserve is in trouble we may not be able to clean the rest of the mess the storm made up and get these animals the vet care they need." The dark colored Shepherd said as he Scratched his head. "Oh no...I know i will do a bake sale and craft sale, and make the money we need." Said Pixie. 

"I like your Commitment to your job Kid....But it just wouldn`t be enough." he said as he walked off to Assess the damage.

Pixie walked off to her favorite outlook, head, tail and ears drooping. She just got this job less than Three months ago and she didn`t want to lose it due to something like this, she sighed as she sat down to look at the damage below her.

Before long she jumped due to someone clearing their throat behind her, she just barely got out "You..." before she started slipping on the wet rock, pretty soon she found herself hanging off the edge of the overlook. 

"Hang on I got you" Said a familiar voice, Soon she was standing on all four paws again panting as she looked up to say thanks she was shocked to see it was "Prince...Thanks, but what are you doing back here? I mean i thought you had enough of nature the other day." Prince paused before he spoke "Well...I kind of...Heard the Storm had wrecked the Preserve...a-and well....I-I.." He pushed an Envelope to her. 

"What`s this?" She asked as she opened it....Her mouth fell open in shock "Th-this is...Why? How? Why?" She couldn`t complete what she was saying. Prince looked embarassed but soon laughed at her speechlessness. "I had heard how bad the Preserve had been hit...and well i hadn`t really thanked you Properly so well....I decided this might be the best way to...It should help keep the Preserve open and help with the animals vet costs, for a long time." Pixie was in disbelief for a few seconds before she jumped on him hugging and Thanking him.

"Prince Thank you So So much!! You just saved my job, all the Animals, The plants, The whole preserve!! Thanks so much!!" He Blushed "Alright you`re welcome, can you get off me now? Let`s go tell your boss." The Boss gave Prince a huge Thank you. 

A few days later after the final clean up and vet visits were finished with Prince and Alexios`s help, Everyone gathered for a Grand Reopening party. From That Day forward Prince and Pixie have been Great Friends....Even though around others they still tell people they can barely stand each other.
