- Magic Rankings: Beginner(n/a), Novice(F), Average(E), Apprentice(D), Intermediate(C), Proficient(B), Expert(A), Elite(S), Grandmaster(S+), Grand Mage(S++), Archmage(Z), and God(0).
- Everyone starts at Beginner, whether they have magic or not, everyone is *born* as Beginner. As they grow into a child they will usually have discovered what their magic is, this will range from 10-16 years old, of course there are Prodigies & Late-Bloomers. When they find out their magic, most children would work to improve it, therefore with constant improvement, as long as they practice for a minimum of 1 1/2 years they will be able to rank up to E rank, which is the most common rank, giving it the name of Average rank. When they are at E rank, they should be told to go to the capital to get officially tested, to join the Magic Knights of Falor, ‘The Kingdom’s Golden Sword’ as they are called. When they get to the capital, they should head to the city’s Guild Hall, it manages all the guilds under the order of the magic knights. Currently there are 5 Guilds, [1,2,3,4,5].
- ranks apply to all magic beings. Like elves, humans, drakes, monsters, familiars, etc.
- all magic beings, except Monsters, can increase their rank!
- one cannot increase their rank past their magic potential. When magical beings are born they have a set amount of magic potential, that cannot increase without a second awakening. So if an elf is born with the magic potential of an C-rank, then they are not able to surpass that of C-rank, unless they are to have a second awakening.
- Second awakening: it does not mean you awaken a new power, but your magic potential has reached its maximum, and essentially it is no longer able to be filled, then it gets to the point that the energy burst. You still have all your mana, but it has been absorbed, and you are able to once again ‘fill’ your magic potential back. So using the above example. The C-rank elf has gone through a second awakening, allowing them to raise their rank past C. After they once again fill their magic potential, the would be at an A, A+, or possibly even S-rank, depending on the amount of effort they put into raising their rank.

Mana? Magic potential? List of common magic beings. Familiars? Mixed-breeds/hybrids/mutants?mana stones?guilds? Stoppin’ here for now
