Halloween Surprise

God what was she doing wearing such a vulgar costume, a cat costume at that. She thought she might give Spectre a suprise when he came home. But now just sitting here thinking about it she really just wanted to go change and forget this idea ever crossed her mind. She looked at the clock and she sighed, getting up from the chair and making her way to their room to go back and change into some regular clothes. She heared the door unlock and start to open. 

“Oh no! What should I do!? He can’t see me like this!! What is he even going to think?!” She thought. 

She was looking all over the room for a hiding spot and found none. 

“Asuka? What are you-” Spectre said.

 She could hear her heartbeat pounding in her ears and she had no choice but to stay where she was. She didn’t even want to look back at him, her face was red. 

“You wanted to surprise him, didnt you?! Well turn around and surprise him! No, it’s too embarrassing! Besides he might think it’s silly or something!” She fought with herself inside her head. She could hear him get closer with each passing second.

“Well I’ve come this far…It’s now or never!” She thought.

She mustered up the courage and turned around to face him, not looking at him as her eyes were still closed. 

“H-Happy Halloween!” She managed to stutter out. 

Silence passed by way too long her and she slowly opened up her eyes to look at him. Her face was shocked as it was to his. His eyes were looking at her body and she was starting to get nervous, fearing what she had thought was becoming true. 

“S-Spectr-!” before she even had time to say his name, he grabbed and started to carry her bridal style. If her face couldn’t get anymore red, it was now. 

“W-Where are we-” she stuttered out before being interrupted, “Bedroom.” His voice was gruff and it sent shivers down her spine. He opened the bedroom door and moved them inside.
