Faded Memories
be careful of what you hope for because a presence just might show you
“Do you really want to remember your past life?”
She backed away in surprised and shock. Bits and pieces of her past memory started to flow into her mind. Her eyes got wide and her body shook from fear and horror from what ‘THEY’ where showing her. The smell of blood started to fill her nose, a copper and sickening smell. Her stomach started to feel nauseated from the, making her almost want to vomit.
“P-Please, s-stop…n-no more.” Her voice weak and almost silent like.
“But isn’t this what you have wanted for so long?” ‘THEY’ responded, only to show her more of her past life.
She could no longer support her self, falling to her knees. Putting her hand around her mouth and her other hand around her stomach, slouching over.
“N-No more! I beg you! Stop!” Her voice now louder to protest these memories 'THEY’ was giving her. More and more just kept coming into her mind, never stopping.
“STOP!” She screamed, tears flowing from her shut eyes. No more, the memories stopped. The white noise she heard soon began to fade as she started to hear the outside world. Birds singing their song and nearby villagers talking and chatting to one another. She could feel her heart thumping inside her rib cage.
Her ragged and uneven breathing soon went back to normal. She stayed crouched and hunched over, her hands now supporting herself. She couldn't believe, no she wouldn't believe it. Those memories could not be hers.
