rumour has it
if you wander the streets late at night, right after the rain, when all the shops lights are out; they say you'll see a little girl, they say she was mixed and raised in the west but her family brought her back to asia to see her other culture, and that she went missing and was never found.
she will turn to you, holding an iconic flowery and ribbon patterned umbrella, and ask "are you lost?" if you say no, she will respond with "that's good" and walk away.
if you say yes, she will smile mischievously, "i can guide you" and throw a chochin obake at you. if you react, she'll laugh, if not she'll pout, "i'll get you next time!"
either way, you'll realize that the streets have suddenly become familiar and by then, she will be gone. until another lost soul comes along.
