Since the Hunt for the Night-Cursed Crone, voices have been raised to ease the prohibitions of potions, as they were a key item for making sure the monster fell so quickly. Miriam has yet to comment on it, but all over Ivras, potion sellers and makers have felt the effects—business has returned, and it seems a lot less likely that a Witchfinder will show up outside one’s door.

Whether Archon Miriam has truly changed her mind or if it’s merely a temporary reprieve, nobody knows. What’s certain is that the populace has access to potions again.

Alektô uses potions : not as much for her, but mostly for research and for others. When she has the opportunity, she always buys as much diverse potions as she can for research and collection purposes. Each kind she buys twice : one to test it, the other to secure in her private collection. It’s wonderful to witness mages, no matter their background, be able to imbue their magic into small vials for others to use. She’s also impressed by all the colors in which magic expresses itself. Be it health potions, levitation, stealth, invisibility, poison, disguise or transformation… Really the fun only has the magic and owner’s imagination as limit. Alektô loves it. She also plans to make potions herself to make her own powers more affordable and easy to reach for mages in need. She will not sell them though : hers will be available only from her own hand and trust.
