When I was in Hounds March there was a point in which we had to get from Rolanna to Calder. To do that we took the river that ran south from Rolanna. It was possibly the easiest way, using the flow of the river to make our journey down, faster.  It did mean though, that I had to spend a couple of days on a boat, and the river wasn't exactly a smooth ride. The boat rocked like a pendulum and it felt like my stomach flipped with every sway. So I spent a good portion of the first day bent over the railing with my eyes closed, hurling over the side.

Aodhan and Sinead teased me about it of course but they thankfully had been giving me my space. The most frustrating part of it was the snide comments from ELysande and . Her occasional "joking" shoves to my shoulder didnt really make me feeling any more balanced, and I was already grumpy enough to start a fight with her. The last time she got close to me on that boat I spat some bile at her feet, and she left me alone for the rest of the trip. Aodhan and Naimh enjoyed that quite a bit.

I think what probably saved me the rest of the ride was the tea Naimh gave me, which they said had ginger in it. They also saved Aodhan from falling over the edge of the boat a couple of times. Both of them were probably the only reason I stayed sane during the trip.
