🔸Event: Time Together

The pair did not look like they would get along in the slightest, and in truth, they were actually the closest of friends in a unique way. Diaval and Quinn were an odd pair of comrades who interacted with each other much like how small children act with siblings at school. There was a fun reverie in pinching at the others' emotions to rile them up in a frenzy, especially in class when they were learning with Khadgar. Diaval would shoot a sharp paper plane in the direction of Quinn and use their magic of wind to make it speed even faster. Much like a dart, hitting Quinn with a bit of force, enough to make them jump up and distract Khadgar from what he was pointing at to teach. This usually left Khadgar whacking or glaring at both students, knowing their deviances. In return, Quinn would use their Arcane to shoot little fireworks at Diaval to zap him somewhere on the body for a jolt of magic. Diaval's response to this was just as Quinn's, completely sporadic in a sudden pained response. And yet again would end up getting a stern glare from Khadgar, or the famous whack on the head from their staff.

When the two were not playing pranks on one another, they actually considered the other a very good friend. Diaval, who cared for very little, would endure all the rambling of Quinn's day as they went over absolutely everything that happened to them. The black crow hiro would even suffer through being a shoulder to cry on for the firecracker brow, to offer half-assed words of wisdom that didn’t really help the situation at all or make a lick of sense. In exchange, Quinn was often found, in the horde of what was Diaval's room, helping the hiro to polish their many shiny trinkets, not knowing they were actually stolen goods. The purple mega brow browbird was the ship's housekeeper after all, so they did not mind extending their work into assisting in keeping Diaval's favorite treasures looking nice. While so, the pair would chat or spiral witty remarks for good banter, and when finished go have a drink together with the ship mates or in the village of their port. Often then not, when an adventure was to be had they ended up turning to on another as the travel partner. Everyone on the ship had someone, and some how these two always seemed to gravitate towards each other since it worked best.

Now through these exchanges of spending time together, was there the possibility of their friendship turning into more? Possibly, or possibly not… but for now, they simply enjoyed each other's existence.
