one night.

coffee stains. that was the most vivid memory when he first woke up from the dream. but the dream felt so real too, soft caresses and loving brushes of lips against his cheeks.

toxin shook his head, slowly sitting up in his bed.

no, no, wait.

not his bed. definitely not his bed.

his blood immediately ran cold, turning to face an empty spot behind him. whoever owned this bed wasn't here?

he panicked for a few moments before the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs stole his attention, driving him to curl up into the sheets, chewing on the sleeve of his sweater. the person who entered the room seemed to laugh, and toxin felt a dip in the mattress, before a gentle touch against his shoulder. 

before he really had time to panic, he was pulled back against someone's chest, and enveloped in a hug.

"good morning, sunflower~," they purred in his ear, nose nuzzling against his jaw. okay, great, so the dream definitely wasn't a dream. that was nice to know. at least his accident wasn't too bad, this guy seemed pretty sweet. 

"hey... uhm, morning! c-can i ask.. where we are? who you are?" toxin tried to hide the confused, nervous tone in his voice, his hands wringing together under the bed's comforter. 

the other person laughed, then, and by the way the bed swayed, toxin thought he was shaking his head. "of course," he started, "we're in my roommate's house, in my room. and my name is vivian."

"...last night...?" toxin hummed, leaning back against vivian's chest.

he nodded, smiling down at toxin. "yeah, you were pretty bummed out. said something about getting stood up, and then you told me that you needed help. then... well, you said we should come here." toxin's cheeks paled, and then lit up red, shooting back into an upright sitting position. "whoa, whoa! calm down! all we did was cuddle. you were sad, i wanted to help, sorry!"
