Taking care of the doomed

Three days since Tonic’s been turned, Lucio left only five days ago. After being offered protection by big mama, Julius couldn’t blame him. But Tonic and him didn’t trust big mama enough to tag along. Then Tonic got bit and well they were no match for the advanced virus.

Julius should’ve left, after the first signs of the hunger kicked in his friend he should’ve left. But something deep down didn’t want to let them go, didn’t want to accept his friend was gone. So he didn’t.

Sure he had to tie them up, stuff their mouth to stifle the moans of pain. But there had to be something remaining of his friend. Like in the books the brothers would read to him, and if he just reasoned with Tonic they’ll overcome the virus.
