Hal's feet were aching after having explored the forest all day, and were a weird, muddled shade of brown after stepping through the mud of yesterday’s rain shower. She felt kind of sad at the same time, she wanted to see more of the forest before she went back.

Hal looked around for a few seconds and found the the way she had come from before, recognising the tree’s weird bird markings and her own footsteps in the mud. She felt really satisfied in having found such a large amount of herbs and a few loot boxes, but longed to look for a few more hours. After all, Hal didn’t find the night too scary, it was a beautiful sight to her.

Suddenly, she heard a shatteringly loud sound, nothing like the small one she had heard many times earlier, and it seemed to be headed straight for her.

Hal let out a high pitched screech and started running, her heart beating faster than normal. Her running was a bit odd and panicked, and she soon tripped over a rock and fell with a thud on the soft ground, the grass now tickling at her nose, and her glasses nowhere to be seen.

Hal’s vision was muddled, and her paws outstretched across the patch of earth, looking anxiously for her glasses. Then, a strange blurry figure starting running towards her, and put Hal’s glasses back in place with a soft way.

”Hal! Are you ok? I’m so sorry for making you feel scared I didn’t think you would get hurt or trip I-“ Slowly, the blurry figure in front of Hal revealed Ranger, in a worried frown, her cheeks a beautiful pink blush.

“Ranger? Is that you?” Ranger bent down and picked up Hal in a quick movement, as if Hal was as light as a feather. “Yes, it is me” She said in a clumsy sort of way. ”Who else would I be my cute, fuzzy little cat?” Ranger started petting Hal’s hair, and a friendly smile could be seen across her face. Hal frowned for a second, still feeling a bit dizzy and disoriented. “Ranger, you scared me! I was constantly freaking out at all the noises you made when you were following me, and I didn’t think it was you.” Hal started hugging Ranger’s massive and extremely soft paw, her tail wrapping around it.

“Why did you leave me alone for so long? You know I need someone to talk to from time to time” Ranger stated, her eyes giving off a very mischievous glare.

Soon enough, Ranger stuck Hal closer to her fluffy snout and started giving Hal a series of soft kisses across her small, tired body. Hal blushed and smiled shyly at the sight of Ranger doing this.”Ranger, be careful, my clothing is all dirty from searching for Herbs”. She took Ranger’s face and passed her white colored paw slowly through Rangers snout. Ranger looked up at West’s face and engaged in a deep, slow kiss, pushing past Hal’s paws. Hal’s blush became a deep red, almost matching the sunset in the background that had given way to the shimmering stars of the night. Hal couldn’t help but pull Ranger closer, the warmth of their kiss filling Hal with such happiness joy.

Soon enough, the kiss sadly comes to an end, and Rangers’s face glows with excitement. “Wanna go look at the stars?” Hall hugs Ranger and tugs lightly at her braid, and points at a hill in the background, in full view of the forest’s scenery. “Over there, it’s perfect don’t you think?”

Ranger smirks in a cute way and looks ahead, “Well, what are we waiting for?” “Lead the way my beautiful little kitty”

Soon Hal and Ranger’s bodies fade into the deep shades of the forest, on a night under the stars.
