With a final nod to his crew members Blitzkrieg disembarked. His ship was one of the largest at the space port, even without masts extended it was twice the height as even the tallest of the surrounding spaceships. Sides glittering deep blue, reflecting the surrounding lights it looks like a piece of space itself had been carved out of the sky. He made sure his pride and joy was always in the best condition possible, how else would he be able to put pace every other pirate and mercenary in universe. With the help of a certain imperial kitbull he even managed to ensure that everything was completely legal…outwardly anyway.

Stealing a final glance at his ship Blitzkrieg began to make his way through the crowded dock. The stellar-dock bustling with activity, the entire city was busily preparing for meteor shower that night. So much so that even Blitzkrieg, who often attracted far too much attention, went unnoticed. While this would typically annoy him, today he found the lack of attention pleasant. He was in no mood for idle chit chat. Gradually making his way through the crowd, he let himself get lost in thought. Thinking of his earliest memories of watching the meteor shower and collecting scales with his loved ones, their faces may be blurry in his mind from the time that had passed but he remembered the feelings so clearly. Seeing the brilliant lights streaming through the night sky, holding a dragon scale in hands, the weight surprising him. Lost in thought he eventually left the port, making his way from memory through the imperial city. Wondering for a moment what trouble he could cause if he were to go disturb the princeling, but even such meddling didn’t stir any excitement within him today.

The sun was at its peak in the sky when Blitzkrieg arrived at his destination. A small mountain, hardly more than a hill, located on the edge of seaside cliff. He hadn’t been able to picture it in his mind for many years, but this is where those memories took place. The bulky browbird settled himself at the cliffs edge, legs dangling over the edge, he shut his eyes and let the breeze rush past him. Another memory made of sensations drifted through his thoughts, the sea air on his face, a large hand ruffling his hair, a father whose face he’d forgotten. The night of the meteor shower was always a bittersweet one. He continued this way, letting his mind wander until it was finally time. He was laying on his back staring upwards as the first multicolored flash lit up the night. Smiling he reached up towards the sky whispering softly to no one but himself “and tonight I’ll catch a dragons scale and carve my hearts desire.”
