"YOU CANNOT KEEP HER AT BAY FOREVER." Metal commented from his place at Shatter's side.

Shatter sighed heavily as he watched the trio of sprite pokemon conversing quietly on the other side of the room. "I'm well aware." He growled. "I'd prefer we get... this sorted first."

"THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW WHEN THAT WILL BE. THE PROBABILITY SHE FINDS THEM BEFORE YOU TELL HER IS HIGH." Metal was at least kind enough to not include the actual percentage. Shatter was positive he had a number after all.

"I will... handle that when it comes to pass " Shatter turned away from the rather familial scene going on between the three sprite pokemon. He felt... remorse maybe, knowing what he'd done. "For now I'll work on this."

Metal was silent for a few moments. "VERY WELL. I WILL TRUST YOUR JUDGMENT." Shatter wasn't sure that was smart, but at the very least the support was appreciated.

---

"I still don't trust them." Swift pawed at the ground. "Can we really be expected to just forget everything?"

"We can just leave, and we should." Strike fluffed up his feathers. "He hasn't tried to stop us too hard."

"I still think we should give him a chance..." Codex glanced over at Shatter and Metal. "There's something very different about him."

"What like he has a name now?" Swift huffed.

"No one around here is hurt." Codex glared.

"They could be brainwashed. We have no idea what these new forms can do." Strike offered.

"I dont think he'd try that hard. There's a lot of people here. Plus that's not his style." Codex tapped his hands together. "I'm sure of that. Look we can give him a shot, if he ends up being the same then we can leave. There's plenty of people around here who could help us."

Swift and Strike glanced at each other. It made sense they were more hesitant. Codex was much less of a victim then they were. He was sure though that things would be different. "Fine..." Swift finally sighed. "We'll give him one chance. That's it."

"That's all I ask." Codex nodded. "Thank you."

"Of course kid." Strike nodded. "Only doing it for you." Well that was a start, and Codex would take that.
