Prompt - Crafting p1

Mog happily bobbed around his new crafting bench. Vellum had helped him set it up in the corner of the small cabin earlier that day and had even gifted him a few crafting materials. He’d decided he wanted to get into crafting and be more productive around the palace, while he did enjoy delivering mail across the grounds he would often see his friends seeming to do so much…more. Because of this Mog swore to himself that he’d find a new way to be useful, and now with a little help he’d gotten the tools to so!

The work bench was made from finished moor wood, and stood at a reasonable height…for the average browbird or satyr, which means that for the smaller then average kitbull it was quite large. “Incredibly spacious” Vellum had called it, and Mog had to agree. There was more than enough space for his work, although he did have to stand on his toes up on his stool to actually reach the farthest corners. Initially Mog had only a few simple tools, but after he’d mentioned his new goal to his friends they all showed up at his home over the next few days with various gifts. A set of useful if simple, but quite well made tools from Luceat. Crafting supplies from Vellum. A set of concerningly decorative sewing supplies from Blitzkreig, with the condition that Mog not show the supplies to anyone from inside the palace. And finally from the prince himself several large crafting crates containing random supplies and equipment of all kinds that Mog felt very guilty accepting.

Now with his workbench clean and polished, and the generally useful equipment placed all within Mogs reach, he was ready to begin!… It then occurred to Mog that he didn’t have the slightest idea HOW to actually craft anything…
