Ugh, not again. Faye doesn't know why she still bothers greeting Poppie. Sure, Melody’s a good friend, but she didn’t think it meant that Poppie would stop talking to Faye entirely.

Poppie picks up a plate of breakfast and sits on the couch next to Melody, who immediately struck up a conversation. They’re inseparable at this point.

Whatever. Faye knows Oliver will still talk to her. She hopes that Oliver doesn’t get bored of her like Poppie did. She’s had fewer people to talk to ever since the incident—and the news—took away her family.
