Longing

Kazoku stared at someone she never thought she'd see again. Her feet felt glued to the snow at her paws. As much as she wanted to go over there and embrace him, she just couldn't bring herself to do it. It just didn't feel real. Was it some sort of trick?

Eventually she realized how rude it was to stare and she turned away. Plus it wasn't lost on her how hypocritical she was being. She'd told Shatter and Metal to stop following around the knights yet here she was doing the same thing. 

Maybe she should go visit with Shatter and the others. Codex and his brothers were quite the interesting group and she was excited to get to know them better. With a heavy sigh she walked towards Shatter's house. She'd scrape together the courage to speak to her brother again some day. That day was not today though.
