During a routine hunting excursion deep into the shimmering cosmic forest Soren was found abandoned as a restless, wailing infant. Fortunately, the Carousel village had experienced finding an orphan once before and warmly embraced him as well, giving him the name Soren as a reference to the warrior deity who harnessed the moon glow in battle, Soreilm. He was not placed in only one single home but grew knowing every villager well, shadowing under each family in hopes of discovering his blessing to share or developing a special skill.

It was believed for many years that Soren was not gifted a blessing of the gods. It was not until Soren realized his spiritual bond to Seren, the other orphan that had been found years prior to Soren's appearance, that his blessing was made clear: Soren and Seren together had the unique ability to bless others with a special, deep love and encourage refreshed devotion among soulmates. Their connection also mysteriously gifted a magical veil of safety over the village that alleviated the hardship of needing to constantly rebuild.

In many ways Soren and Seren's eternal, entwining romance saved Carousel, but also pointed the village in a new direction with a focus to bless others beyond their sanctuary with their unique gifts. The village, no longer fearful of the damage of asteroid storm, turned to gazing at the planet below them and found purpose in helping those creatures inhabiting it.

The villagers of Carousel were so grateful for the abundance of love and protection they believed both Soren and Seren to have been sent as direct offspring of the gods. Today they are recognized as the highest of royalty, sharing the castle of the ancients situated in the centered of the village. A breathtaking monument made of the rare lyri stone was hand carved of the pair and sits just outside the castle entrance for villagers to appreciate.

Soren was affectionately nicknamed Lamby as a child and that still holds true today, with most villagers continuing to refer to him lovingly as Lamby despite his more formal, royal status having been established. Soren insists he is truly most comfortable being called Lamby and even prefers to refer to himself in third person as such. He feels the soften nickname helps to ease those traveling through Carousel and gives way to his more playful nature.

While he spends most of his individual focus on his wife, Seren, and their precious children he is also passionate about village protections. He is often planning and training to keep his loved ones safe. He is not one for battle but does feel it is a duty of the village to be thoroughly prepared.

King Soren is beloved by all, and, while he loves his village family, it is apparent that his adoration of Seren is his primary driving force of life. It is a speculation of many, but especially of the village aark that practices both medicine and magic, that aging halted for the lamb king when his soul joined once more with his mate. Soren is said to believe that the soul of Seren has given him life eternal and that her absence would directly cause his demise.

As the most recent couple of centuries have passed Soren has found confidence in his royal status. He is pleased to spend time with others, especially during physical training exercises he leads, but also has come to the realization that he is primarily needed within the central castle to maintain the Carousel appropriately. He thoroughly enjoys visitors and delights in playing games of his youth with those who are up to his competitive excitement. He has set aside one regular daylight to entertain these activities within the castle's Harmony Room.

Soren's unusually youthful appearance and occasionally playful demeanor makes him a well-recognized character among others outside of Carousel as well. An attentive listener, many speak freely, though always respectfully, to Soren in voicing their thoughts and opinions without fear. His reputation speaks for itself and those who enter Carousel are always eager to meet the king for one of his infamous uplifting chats.

The castle welcomes visitors to the throne from dawn to dusk and under no strict time limitation. Please be prepared to present yourself, your title, and your purpose of visit. You may expect a Carousel welcoming gift and brief walkabout of the common areas upon your first presentation. Gifts and questions must be submitted to the Commons Repra prior to entry to the throne but all queries will be addressed.
