Khadgar had been cooped up in his house for weeks. He has spent all that time deciphering magical tomes given to him by his superiors. Unfortunately, this task has left little time for anything else. If it wasn’t for his girlfriend Perry checking on him daily, people might’ve thought him dead! Luckily, Khadgar had finished the tomes the day before, and was currently taking a well deserved rest in a Stormwind inn. Perry however, felt that a long sleep wasn’t enough for the worn out mage and begun a special plan just for him tomorrow… Morning had arrived, a beam of the rising sun peered through an opening in the curtains, hitting the still resting mage in the face. He squinted and covers his face with his blanket, trying desperately to escape it’s bright glow. Khadgar then quickly switched sides only to get a peck on his nose. He opens his eyes in surprise to be greeted by a bright smile from a familiar elf. “Perry…?” He yawned, trying his best to stay awake for her. “Who else could it be?” Her smile beamed a radiance only rivaled by the sunlight entering from the window. Khadgar couldn’t help but grin at his girlfriends positive mood. He never understood how someone like her can make anyone smile. Titans sake, she could probably make Deathwing himself show a great big scaly smirk! Readjusting himself, he tries to pull the positive night elf under the covers, but she protested. “Nope! I have plans for today, and it involves having you get out of bed!” Khadgar groaned, “Five more minutes? Please?” He begged with puppy dog eyes. Peregrïn found herself struggling as well! Not only did she have to resist seeing Khadgar shirtless and with a bed head, but now to resist the mage’s greatest weapon? Blasphemy! She prayed to Elune for strength, and managed to stay firm. “Nope! C’mon, I have breakfast waiting for us downstairs!” She tugged on him to get up from his sleep. Seeing as there was no other way, Khadgar gave in to Perry’s demands and got up from his bed. Perry gave him privacy to change and herself time to calm down from her gorgeous boyfriend! Khadgar cleaned himself up, got his robes on, and headed downstairs. There, he saw Perry looking quite proud of herself. She had a plate stacked with waffles, covered in raspberries and blueberries (or whatever WOW has as substitute) and a glass of fresh juice. Khadgar looked in surprise by this. Usually it’s HIM making her breakfast this early! “Perry, this looks amazing! What’s the occasion?” He asks a plops down into the chair, ready to stuff himself full of breakfast. “None at all, just rewarding you for all the hard work. You deserve it. Besides…” Peregrïn grabs another chair and pulls it over to the table with her own glass of juice. “This is only the beginning!” Khadgar looked up from his breakfast, a small drip of syrup falling from his lip. “More?” “You’ll see~!” She winks, and drinks from her glass of juice. After Breakfast, Perry dragged Khadgar to the griffon post and bought a ride to Goldshire. There, she continued to lead him into the forest until they get to the river that separated Duskwood and Elwynn forest. The scenery was beautiful, the quietness of the woods, the shades of colors from the sunlight dancing upon the slow moving river, even Duskwood looked slightly more welcoming! Khadgar was in awe, and Perry smiled proudly to see her plan had successfully got her boyfriend to drop his jaw in amazement. Before Khadgar could say anything, Peregrïn was already in her swimwear, holding a small basket. “Perry… did you plan for all this?” He asked astoundingly. She nodded, “I did say there would be more love, did I not?” “I should overwork more often if that’s the case!” He jesters with a light chuckle. Perry gave him a smooch on the cheek before she dove into the river, leaving the basket behind. Khadgar quickly disrobed himself as hurriedly as humanly possible, only to fall on his face when he lost balance trying to get his boots off. Peregrïn giggled at her cute nerdy mage, and swam close to the riverside. When Khadgar looked up after removing his pants, he was greeted to a surprise kiss from the lovely night elf! Khadgar eased up, as they broke away from the kiss. “I love you Perry. Thank you.” “I love you too Khadgar.” The two stared into each others eyes, getting lost in each others gazes. Slowly, their heads drifted close to each for another kiss. Soon enough, the love birds had spent the entire day by the riverside. Khadgar would have to return to another job he’d have to do sooner or later, but knowing how Perry made him feel that day, definitely had him much more confident for the next project!
