((Here we are! A new fic for @drew-winchester. I’ve heard how busy you have been, so here’s a little gift for you! I know it’s not going to be ENTIRELY copy and paste from your comic. Here’s hoping your week gets better, and I hope you enjoy!))

Khadgar was sitting at his desk late at night, reading over some of his old notes. He chuckled at some of them, enjoying how anxious for adventure he once was. He put the book down, and before he could get another, he noticed something. Khadgar noticed out from the corner of his eye, how Perry has been walking around sluggishly. Her expression carried a heavy dismal look on it. “Perry? Something the matter?” He asked. Perry looks up to him, and gloomily walked to him. She knelt on the chair where he was sitting. “When I was a child, my parents told me “Peregrïn, someday, you will find your path, find out who you are, and you’ll get your markings.”…” Khadgar began putting the pieces together. “I never got my markings, and after what happened in Teldrassil, I don’t think I ever will…” “You have time, your still young, and there are plenty of surviving Kaldorei at Stormwind, you can still get them.” He consoled. “Yes, but I know who I am, I found my path. Shouldn’t I get them?” Khadgar looked over at his ink bottle, and had an idea. He dabbed some of his fingers in ink. Perry, looked confused by his action, but didn’t say anything about it. Khadgar placed his freehand on her face, and began “painting” Perry’s face. “What are you doing Khad?” “Art.” “What? No.” Perry resisted. “Just trust me.” he coaxed. He drew a large crescent moon on her face with smaller moons around it, and a few stars on the free areas. “It tickles!” “Hold on, almost done… aaaand there!” “Huh.” Peregrïn began, “Does it look good?” Khadgar smiled, “I think so.” “Really? How so?” “You make anything look good Perry.” With that, Perry was out of her depressed state, and softly kissed her lover. His actions only reinforced her belief that she was right where she belonged. While it may not be what her parents had wanted, she knew it’s what she wanted.
