GIZMO - JOURNAL ENTRY 0

I have the base of a robot built. It's been difficult to juggle school work and lab work. Even if it’s only a hobby, I believe that my lab work is important. Since it’s been summer break, I needed to plan carefully on how I’m going to survive and pass junior year. So therefore, I need to get an assistant of sorts. Which is why I’m building a robot. I COULD get someone who can use magic to make this way easier, but I feel like that’s somewhat cheating. Also, building a robot feels like it’s way easier than convincing anyone from school to help. Before I continue making this robot, I need to think of concepts and ideas for when it's… ‘conscious’. I know I want it to be a girl, as I would feel more comfortable working with it. As for a name… Maybe Jinx? That feels too close to my name. Bailey? That feels wrong with how she looks. …Gizmo? That’s generic but it feels…right. Gizmo is a perfect name for my project. She must have knowledge similar to mine. I need her to be creative and communicative to felinize her and make her feel more real. She needs to have some sort of pseudo-emotion.

I can’t wait to code her.
