Nova sighed as they finished up reading theĀ  most recent report the Silverdenn guards had kindly given him. The Team Havoc grunts that stuck around were as erratic as ever in whatever they were doing. It made it hard to pin them down when they couldn't predict what they were going to do next. That's how they had gotten so good at their job after all. Learning how to take in information and accurately predict where a target would be next. They'd taken in every report that the town had on their duo of criminals, more than once mind you, but even given the rather large amount of information Nova had no idea when or where they'd strike next.

Sure they'd tracked seemingly unpredictable targets before, but this felt like something else. There were missing pieces of crucial information. How did the duo continue to sneak in unseen? Logically they likely observed patrol patterns from a distance, but Nova was well aware that Curatrix and Aegis changed their group's patrol routes regularly and at random. There would be no guarantee that the duo's information would hold true for long, and based on how amature the duo felt to Nova they were sure the two would have messed up more than the one time they had by now. Plus based on the small comments that were made on their personalities Nova seriously doubted the duo's ability to have the patience required to memorize patrol routes.

What was happening then? Their mind helpfully provided them with a probable solution. One they loathed to acknowledge after spending so much time with the citizens of Silverdenn. Someone in town was secretly a Team Havoc grunt, and was helping the duo get in and out without being seen. If they could frown, they would have. This was a rather serious allegation, and one that Nova felt the need to bring up to Argenti. They were confident after all that the mayor of Silverdenn was about as far from being associated with Team Havoc as one could get. The hakamo-o cared deeply for the people living in SIlverdenn, and would never betray them like that. Nova mentally ruled out Umbra as well, she was close to Argenti and the two had started Silverdenn together. There was no doubt in their mind that the noibat had no association either.

That settled it then. They'd have to try and corner the two soon. Once Umbra returned from wherever she'd gone anyway. Until then it couldn't hurt to start to put feelers out. Perhaps they could get the traitor nervous, because if they were nervous they would be far easier to find. They couldn't push too hard though. Whoever this was, they were skilled as loath as Nova was to admit it. If they pushed too hard the traitor might just slip away before they could be caught. Of course from there Nova could track them down, but they much preferred to deal with it now. With one last glance at the report Nova got up. Time to start digging.
