Spark looked down at the letter in concern. They were attempting to send some of their "Knights of the Frontier" to Shroudhaven. This wouldn't go over well. That was why he hadn't told anyone yet, not even his dad. The nickit would probably take the news better than some of the others, but Spark was still dreading the reaction. It had been bad enough when word of the first interested pokemon had come in. New pokemon wanting to join their little community. On the surface, that was great! More people around meant more to help with the necessary tasks of their lifestyle. Of course all of those pokemon that had actually come had not been able to keep up or adapt to how they did things, so there's been a lot of pokemon kicked out recently. A quick turnover rate that apparently had some of the people "in charge" worried. Maybe the pokemon they'd kicked out didn't want to admit why, and it had been assumed there was some sort of danger that had scared them off. A danger that "natives" might be more used to dealing with.

Whatever the reason, they were coming and it wasn't going to go well. Spark wasn't sure how kicking out pokemon with more... authority behind them would go over. Though it was very likely to happen. Well he would just have to brace for the worst. It wasn't like if this whole "official town" thing didn't work out they couldn't go back to what they'd been doing. It would be fine. Hopefully.
